I mean 0 or 1000000 exits are all the same if it's not worth reaching them
I think the original debate of this was whether it would be better to stay at Level 4 and live out a shell of your former life or continue to Level 8 to seek something better at the risk of there not being anything and you just being trapped there forever.
If you have to go through hundreds of levels for the chance of reaching one of the millions of exits, it doesn't really matter because nobody's making it regardless.
Exits become problematic when they are
1: Charted out. You shouldn't be able to have Level 0 > Do action > Level # > Do action > Level #. Routes should either be unknown, specific to the person escaping, or constantly changing.
2: Easy. If you can traverse less than a dozen levels and have a 100% chance of reaching the exit, that's not good. You want like 20 levels for a miniscule chance.
