Hello everyone, and I hope the situation has calmed down now.
As everyone might be aware, there's a recent post regarding nominations and the thread just recently locked, perhaps, for the better good. We need to avoid ourselves delving into drama, so this is most likely the correct decision. Honestly, I was planning to create a new thread since yesterday, because I want to discuss this matter, without all the drama.
In there, nominations for "administrator" was voiced, and although I am grateful that so many voted for me, I believe that it's too soon. I'm just a newbie and I'm still lacking the experience, the capabilities to lead such an important position. HOWEVER, I still want to express my happiness, that I am thankful for everyone for the support. I'll continue doing my best for the better good of the community! 🙏
Because of that, I want to return the favor and appreciate everyone back. With all the edgelords on the site, I think it's about time that we put some more positivity to create a more friendly, mature and respectable community.
Before I appreciate everyone, I want to express my gratitude for @Egglord1 because I can't thank you enough. A newbie like me trusted to manage the fandom. I remember how I can't believe what's happening at that day, and I have no regret. It is such an honor for me to serve the community for the better good.
I also wouldn't be here without @OGominho @SoulWithSorrowLaiden @Schicksalhaft @Infinite Explorer @SkyCityXD3 @PuppyBorkbutaccountgotwiped @Thatguy5043 @InklingKid2009 @SetaCraft @Microwavethecat for all the contributions to the fandom; both that are seen by the public, and those that are remain unseen. I think there's not enough appreciation for the mods- not as in empty praises that we throw in our jokes, but real appreciation to the hard work, to the dedication for the community.
AND special place for @DoctorIGP because I genuinely respected what you did on the previous discussion. Your willingness to speak up in front of everyone has truly gained my admiration.
However, most importantly. I need to express gratitude to @TheObbyxx for the nomination. He might had many mistakes, but he's always willing to improve. He would always listen to others, and always willing to be better. His sheer dedication in improving the community is honestly surprising. Many might think that he's just seeking attention, but I watched him all this time and guided his path, that I believe that his intention is definitely good. Long ago, I believe that he would not be a good mod, but he shows himself to be capable of neutrality and maturity as he uphold a decent standard. Many might dislike him, but we need to admit that he's growing up to become a helpful person.
There are many more rookies with great potential, such as @Cyrixgamer and @NormalDudeWithaNormalLife that have been making nice progress with their canons recently, and they surprised me with how quickly they grow. Of course I also need to mention @Mctoran for the recent contribution regarding the Keymaster and everyone. Also, @Starnest definitely deserved some recognition. The brightest of the rising star, no question about it. A great writer with some of the most friendly, polite and civilized manner. Seen his work, and in my humble opinion, his quality is even higher than mine.
Regarding appreciation, @Outrageous holiday deserve some mention here too. You might be inactive recently, but it's undeniable that you've been contributing for the better good of the fandom for a long time.
As a honorable mention, @Nightmarehoundog is without a doubt the most polite and humble newbie that I ever seen.
That is all for me, and I hope that this can be a start of a positive change to build a better community for the better good of the fandom.
From yours truly, Crimson.
