Another post, yeah, another critiques on me... But who cares. Even I do not.
Gatekeeping is a small problem on the wiki, which stands for people making something like "do not edit unless author's permission" which is really annoying. I mean, when the page is WIP, people should avoid editing it due to author not giving the finished product yet; but when a level is finished, it should be free to contribute to anyone. There should not be things like "DO NOT EDIT UNTIL (someone)'S PERMISSON" since it just makes the page look worse in the comparison to others. It also breaks the collaborative sense of Fandom, where everyone writes their own part. I understand that pages are meant to write, but there should not be a problem when someone has an idea and adds it to the page.
Well, there is a VERY easy solution to that: a page creation rule. @Egglord1 or whoever created the rules, you should add the rule like: "Do not gatekeep, Fandom is collaborative blah blah blah" or something like that since it is annoying when no one lets them create a page. The gatekeepers also use a trick: "do not edit until grammar fixes" and it is done by especially free users who just want a free "rewrite" and pretend it is they's.
And yeah, people who gatekeep just revert non-allowed edits, but some do not care.
Oh, and also @Moviesign , If people can gatekeep their pages, I see no problem of adding wiki owners.
