Our first attempt at implementation of a greenlighting system was a failure, but we're planning on attempting a second implementation.
Our hope is to stem the rapid influx of pages while maintaining the Fandom's signature creativity.
Here are the criteria:
Page concept must be original
Page length must be justified (Pages can be short if there is not much info available but otherwise there should be a decent level of detail to illustrate the concept and elaborate upon it)
Spelling Punctuation and Grammar (SPaG) must be approved and checked before greenlighting. The greenlighter themselves can do this.
Pages can't violate the already set up rules
Pages should be feasible
If a page has not been sent to a Greenlighter and approved before posting it will be considered a coldpost and will be deleted. Pages may be restored as per author request. There may be exceptions.
We will, in order to make this manageable, be forming a community GL team. We need a lot of volunteers to be "Trainees", people who help streamline the entire process by reporting coldposts and greenlighting pages (Of course with mod supervision). Eventually. we'll likely get these people to be able to entirely handle the process on their own once we've learned that they can handle it.
