The more normal a level is, the closer it is to the frontrooms.
Recently, Egglord released a level that I would deem very unique, and not normal at all. But that's the conundrum, its good because it stands out.
Let me use the pictures as an example. I try to get my pictures from scenes in my life. Its not surprising that I dont have access to scenes like those of level 192, because I live in a normal area, and unnormal predicaments are seen as a mess that need to be cleaned.
Imagine if it were the opposite, I lived in a trippy hellscape of dark corners, and non euclidean structures made of unusual materials. I probably would want to move. But that's what people inadvertantly want the backrooms to be like. All levels being unique, all levels defying any sense of normality. I think the backrooms should reflect the frontrooms, and its normality.
Also can we get a more concrete definition of liminal?
"of, relating to, or situated at a sensory threshold : barely perceptible or capable of eliciting a response"
