So uuh I was informed by freeburger that some of the new mods deleted pages that had 3,000 bytes, is this true?

No, I need more people to change my view, since I’m a old member of the wiki.
We don't measure a page quality by its size. Instead, we read it completely, and by a number of different factors and topics, we can put our minds to work and see if the article has enough grammar, punctuation, spelling, formatting, etc. to be an existing page in our database.
For example: recently, Egglord has deleted a page with more than 7,000 bytes at least. It was undoubtedly an above average page for our wiki, but it was plagiarized. Another one that I had deleted was over 10,000 bytes I'd say, but it copied its content from other copyrighted franchises, apart from having a lot of badly written parts, so I was in my obligation of deleting them.
Also (this is a personal opinion rather than just facts), saying that mods make the wiki shit isn't true whatsoever. I know that you also were here before this mod event happened; I was there too. Even better, I was one of the users that started this movement along with other friends I made here. This place was absolute chaos before we started cleaning this. I trust that you remember that phase. We even allowed underage users (I know you remember some very vividly) to roam around here — the same ones that made this place messier.
I bet that you wouldn't like me coming here and saying that the users that visit here regularly made this fandom shittier than it was, or would you?
The moderators in my opinion have improved the wiki by giving it more interesting articles and high effort posts. A 12 year old could argue that they put their blood, sweat, and tears into what they made but the work would prove otherwise :/ The mods are all nice and very reasonable with their bans and deletions. Got a problem with their choices? Go ask them yourself why they did it instead of relying on other people to gather the info for you 😐
THAT'S WHAT IM SAYIN
ratio
I feel like the influx of new, immature users kinda made this wiki shit. So uuh I was informed by my own common sense that 3,000 bytes of shit writing or spam is still just shit writing or spam. I know this to be true because I am a mod and I deal with people like you every day. Don't like the wiki or the mods? You don't have to stay here, I would say it has been a pleasure but... it really hasn't.
Length doesn't matter; if a page is bad, it should be deleted regardless of length.
If you do not believe the words being said by the mods, then why are you here to complain? If you don't believe they are trying to help, despite not getting any payment, then leave. The mods get harassed because they try to help the wiki, and they don't get paid for it whatsoever. The mods are good people who are willing to work hard without payment, and yet people give them hell as their payment. Be nice to the people who try to give you a good read and accept they are only trying to help. If I could, I would force fandom to make some sort of monetization goal for these people, because they deserve more.
The new mods are fantastic, they're doing their job.
This wiki is essentially Quality > Quantity.
I am a new mod here, and in my humble opinion, our moderator team here is one of the best thing that we have here. Old or new, everyone has their own skills to use. We complement each other, and we take care of the wiki together. Never say that mods makes this place worse, when we're working our sorry arse cleaning this place from all the cringe spam made by edgy kids here. The sheer amount of work needed to be done is outstanding, and I appreciate every dedication of everyone who contribute on improving the wiki, regardless whether someone is a mod or not.
What we need is more work and more appreciation, instead on people who believe that our mods sucks just because we delete some terrible pages. This wiki is our home, and we do our best to keep this place clean. So what's wrong that we took care of our home?
