A lot of intriguing concepts have to be ended in this Wiki and that's a shame; usually it's because of a lack of creativity.
What I'm talking about is the rampage of trends. Someone does something intriguing or new and then everyone starts doing that; even if it's high quality, it doesn't have that "intriguing or new" vibe to it anymore.
One example of this is the old Operations trend, which ran rampant about 6 months ago.
I believe I, and many others, could pull off a good "operation" page. The trend might have started with a good one; I don't know, to be honest, I just ended it. But even if it did, this rampage of "Operation:" pages completely ruins that hypothetical original one.
My point is, when someone does something, feel free to take inspiration from them. But blatantly copying the concept only hurts both pages.
It's because of this that trends here aren't always a good thing; this was clearly shown in the massacre of "almond" and "water" pages, with only three surviving. Could some of these, on their own, have been good pages? Absolutely. But because there were so many, the entire concept was overdone, and ruined.
