I don't think we should delete entities, but Puppybork made another statement that I agree with; partygoers have gone much too far.
The entities themselves were, in my eyes, a genuinely good concept with an aesthetic that actually gave me the "liminal" vibe that I find so rare on the Fandom WIki. Notice that I used the past tense; after what the Wiki has done to Partygoers, that feeling is completely gone.
Now, what "has the Wiki done?"
Oh gosh, here we go.
Allowed Partygoers to write on pages, a concept which, excluding entities like the Historian or the Storyteller, makes absolutely no sense.
That isn't made better by the smiley face at the end... which really just makes me cringe
Roleplayed... not very well... as Partygoers.
I'm not trying to attack the concept of Partygoers themselves, nor am I trying to attack the concept of Level Fun; I instead attack what we've done to them. In the Wiki's eyes, their concept's originality is completely gone.
Do I think we should get rid of them? Yes.
But, there's an entity that I would like to bring up that I do not desire to get rid of, although I feel like we may need to in time: Smilers.
I never really cared all that much for Smilers, except when I imagined the Backrooms and actually running into one. That's what made me actually care for them. And a lot of that care has diminished; now, I'm not going to call any names, but all of the problems I listed with Partygoers are becoming prevalent with Smilers.
We need to stop this, before it's too late, and it moves onto another Entity.
Thank you @PuppyBorkbutaccountgotwiped for your post, it's what actually made me think about this lmao
