^I just think they've expanded from creepypastas to a full scale writing community. I do wish more classic style scps be released bit I think scp is in a much better state than the Backrooms is.
^ I think they should remain as mysterious as possible
Oh wait I thought this post was suggesting getting rid of party goers not just making spongers the most popular entity.
No there not similar at all
A while back someone posted a heavily lgbtq+ themed scp a bunch of people didn't like this but were ignored and so they created there own scp thing called RPC instead. Thankfully both communities have moved on and most users on RPC aren't connected to the original incident.
This is exactly what is so creepy and appealing about the Backrooms. Not wacky monsters not complex lore filled levels just being alone in a vast uncanny repeated rooms and likely to never come across anyone.
Through scp. I was researching the RPC drama looked through the messages of a RPC member and I found a message on the Backrooms wikidot.
Since my reply was deleted I'll rephrase it.
I don't think the current Backrooms style is the way to go. While the idea of people writing guides about the Backrooms is interesting scp style documents, colonies of hundreds of people, huge armed organisations and half a dozen monsters does not fit the backrooms atleast to me.
For me what I want to see out of the backrooms is something more like liminal spaces but with creepy writing and comments being in-universe. Some guides to levels and the like maybe aswell but written in a less professional style.
I also like the Backrooms found footage idea.
