Description
Amandium is a translucent, blue liquid or solid substance not found naturally, only being made when Rose Water, Almond Water, and Random Water are mixed together. It has anomalous effects when consumed, and is versatile due to the fact that it can be easily molded into shapes, as it has a low melting point (of 86° F), and is hard and nearly impossible to shatter in its solid form.
Another strange effect is that if consumed, it will hydrate you at a disproportionately high rate, approximately 14 times as much as almond water would however the side effects are there, so amandium should only be drank in a desperate situation, such as sanity loss or severe dehydration.
The exact ratio to produce amandium is 1 part rose water, 7 parts almond water, and 4 parts random water.
Uses
Due to the hardness of it in its solid form, it can be molded into weapons, including swords, knives, arrows, etc, this usage is further supported due to the sword having a a density of around 0.3 grams per centimeter, which means that swords and other melee weapons will be swung easily, and ammunition that contains amandium would be able to fly far.
However, if you go in a hot environment, then any weapons or items using amandium would become useless, as the amandium would melt.
Effects When Consumed
After consuming amandium, solid or liquid, It gives you a series of anomalous effects.
- Low-Grade Fever
- Tactile and olfactory hallucinations,
- Sanity rapidly rising and falling, but increasing significantly more than decreasing
- Headache
- Fatigue
- Temporary Paresis, if consumed in extremely high amounts
- Lingering sour taste, that takes two days to fully fade away
- Bursts of lightheadedness that last for a few seconds,
Other Information
Due to the blue color, It is speculated that a chemical reaction takes place to produce amandium from the three ingredients mixed together.
