Between the obvious death threats and attempts to prove this entity false, I will provide an actual explanation towards this... thing. It is an aquatic creature, lurking in the depths of multiple aquatic levels. I have seen it, and I have found it myself. Please do not prove this entity false, because it is most definitely real. It is a humanoid, with a fish tail (see image). It has white, slippery skin, akin to that of a snake or worm, with a large "faceplate" that detaches for eating; It opens like a trapdoor, trapping food and consuming it. I took this image in Level 400, if any of you are wondering. Sorry to inconvenience you.
Level 255: The Tropical Paradise, which had been long celebrated as the primary "tourist destination" of the Backrooms and a symbol of human and entity cooperation, has suffered a catastrophic natural disaster. An tsunami struck the coastlines of the level at exactly 14:22 UTC, resulting in the confirmed deaths of 128 individuals. The event was sudden and random, with no predictive seismic activity or oceanic irregularities reported from the Backrooms Colonists' advanced monitoring systems. According to preliminary reports, the tsunami wave height increased nearly 100 meters, effectively destroying the Oceanic Restaurant, the beachfront hotel, residential buildings and the majority of the Neon Island structures. The Kalminoringo (Ocean Residents) were especially impacted, with reports mentioning a major collapse of their underwater communities.
Witnesses state that there was no evacuation alert signaled before and during the tsunami, but this has not been confirmed. Not many witness reports have gone through, and scientists suspect that the collapse of the Neon Island sent a strong electromagnetic wave that disabled communications, lighting, and electronic devices across the level. Survivors who have no-clipped to safety mention that the wave was heavy with speed, which served no little time for escaping.
In the aftermath, huge areas of coastal regions of Level 255 have been seen unfortunately unrecognizable. The iconic Oceanic Restaurant has been entirely destroyed, and several hotel have gained irreparable structural damage. These include the Major Neon Hotel, and no survivors have been found within its collapse. The advanced structures of Neon Island, previously considered environmental-threats-proof, have been found completely submerged. The Resident population has suffered catastrophic losses, with early estimates mention an 85% mortality rate of Kalmimoryuli, and a 70% mortality rate of Kalminoringo. Almost every Resident leader has died after trying to save their group, and it seems as though the Residents have now been left in the dark.
The Backrooms Colonists have commanded a state of emergency, and have suspended all tourism operations and have restricted one-way access to Level 255. Search-and-rescue parties are currently underway, although the progress is slow down by unstable environment and continuous aftershocks in oceanic regions.
For now, Level 255 is classified as restricted access, with no new tickets being issued for tourism purposes. The future of the level as a "tourist destination" results uncertain.
I do not know if this could help you, but some family members and friends of mine have called saying there was another wave. Please, could you see more about it.
This harrowing message was broadcasted to our stations at 3:11 UTC, and the sender is presumably dead. Unexpectedly, another tsunami has hit the shores of the island on Level 255, and has started to shrink any hope survivors in this island have of escaping. This wave has completely sunk both the shore of the Neon Island and of the Main Land, and is approximated to have killed at least 500 humans along with an unknown amount of residents. The disaster, nicknamed the "Second Wave", is raising many concerns among the Colonists and worried families whose loved ones are trapped on shore. An especially worried group is the "School of The Hub", which, for a field trip, sent many students to Level 255. No students have been found as of yet.
This incident is not isolated however, and the seismic activity in Level 255 is reported to have "spread" into other levels. Level 11's beaches have been experiencing higher waves, and Level 7's water level is reported to have substantially increased. After tests were run on the water in Level 7 and Level 37, traces of Level 255's coral has been found dissolved in the liquid, causing many believe that this island is the center point of all oceanic levels. Although the "Center Point Theory" is still hypothetical, it has caused some concern for other groups, especially the Backrooms Colonists. Recently, the Colonists have met up with leading groups, such as M.E.G and the D.E.E.P, in order to address the situation on Level 255, and it has lead to the first major multi-group alliance, nicknamed the Oceanic Tribe.
The Oceanic Tribe's first matter of action will be to completely close down access to Level 255, and as a result, almost all communication between the island and the outside world is suspected to cease. The island will become completely isolated, and other levels such as Level 7 and Level 10 are scheduled to be evacuated. We will close off with the remark former seismologist Dr. Robinson made on the situation.
"Our paradise is simply doomed to sink, as all good things do. All anyone can do now is watch". We hope the best for all survivors reading this article. Further developments will be reported shortly.

Disaster has struck Level 255 once again. At 06:41 UTC, a third tsunami; officially called The Third Wave, hit what was left of the once-called "paradise", and caused massive damage to areas inland that were thought to be safe. Unlike the earlier waves that hit only the shores, this one pushed much farther inland with unexpected strength, showing that the disaster on this level is getting worse. According to disclosed data from the Oceanic Tribe, the wave started deep under the ocean floor, in a place and made its way towards the Neon Island before turning towards land. The break is believed to have happened underneath the old Coral Research Station, a M.E.G. outpost that studied the ocean life of the level. The station is now considered destroyed, and everyone who worked there is believed to have died.
The wave itself was seen by strong whirlpools and immediate bioluminescent flashes within the water, a phenomena that was not present in the previous incidents. Survivors describe the sea as "glowing with veins of red and blue," leading to theories about geothermal eruptions or deeper-layer interactions between levels. The Colonists have stated that they do not believe this is connected to seismic activity, however, have been unusually quiet on this front.
Adding to the wreckage, the Resident population has now been reduced to near extinction. Kalminoringo communities that had relocated to submerged mountain ridges were entirely swept away. Kalmimoryuli, already weakened from prior losses, are reported to have gone completely silent. The last known message from a Resident leader ended with the words: "It is not water anymore. It is the memory of fury."
As had happened with the Second Wave, this wave has triggered synchronized tremors across Levels 7, 17, 30, 37 and other oceanic levels, which appear to be resonating with the seismic pulses originating from Level 255. Geologists fear that the level is now acting as a "seismic amplifier," distributing tectonic energy through unknown sub-layer tunnels connecting multiple aquatic levels of the Backrooms. The Center Point Theory is slowly beginning to feel less hypothetical, and the fate of this level might encase the future of the Backrooms itself.
One underlying message seems clear. As more masses sinks into the ever-expanding blue, this tsunami will cause all land to become sea. Further developments will be reported shortly.
Update Recent reports claiming near-total collapse of the Resident population have been corrected. According to updated estimates by advanced theorists within the Oceanic Tribe, the total Resident population still stands close to 2,000 individuals. Approximately 80% of this population consists of aquatic variants (Kalminoringo), and the other 20% are land-based (Kalmimoryuli). Despite the devastation from recent tsunamis, the Resident species continues to survive in reduced but significant numbers.

Where's Backrooms Today? I haven't heard a news story from them in ages. Why have they just disappeared?
Recently, something truly gruesome has been occurring in Level 248.
Recently, a massive wave of executions have begun occurring in Level 248. On January 4th, over a period of 23 hours, 350 individuals were barbarically executed through hanging, and then emasculated, disembowelled, beheaded, and dismembered into four pieces, in waves of 10 at a time. The practice of such barbaric acts started and ended long ago, with the practice being abolished in the Frontrooms in 1870. However, the vile New British have begun the process once more.
Notably, polls seem to show that roughly 76% were pleased with this outcome. However, after independent review there is significant evidence of tampering, such as the fact that polls in the Manufacturing District showed a 100.2% approval rating; most likely these polls have been fabricated. Civilians have been protesting these acts, of which people will surely agree.
Although the future of the REU is uncertain, one thing is, and that is the fact that the process of Drawing and Quartering should have stayed in the middle ages. The BBA will break off the nascent relations in New Britain. We urge other groups to do the same.

It sort of sounds to be like you're defending someone being hanged to death, their organs in their stomach removed, being split into four pieces and being dragged around New Britain ON LIVE TV. Turns out they have been censoring infromation on Backchat and Backmail, from what ive heard there have been atleast 1250 executions so far. The Royal Newsletter appears to be government run; and thus should not be treat as a worthy source. I recommend looking around on BackNet for info rather than that. While i agree with the hanging of the terrorists; ive heard around 500~ of them were falsely accused, or as punishment. They don't have access to Backchat in any way, shape or form. You're redacting yourself for no reason. About the news articles, it's run by a private company in the Power District and the government does not own it in any way. Every executee was ruled in a court of law by jury to have committed at least one count of murder and one other crime. None of them were falsely accused by the government, only by the people. They know the punishment and consequenced and called guilty anyway. I'm not saying it's the best method of punishment but the government's simply doing their best.
For your information: They are hanged until death, quartering is done post-mortem while drawing and emasculation is skipped. The news just reported it that way to get a rise out of people. Looks like it worked.

Visited New Britain. The second visit was way worse than the first! Some people tried to attack me. They had uniforms with the letters RBPFEC on them. I calmed them down and treated them to stargazing, but I'm still unhappy. The place has just been worse off since my last visit; and it's felt unhappier. 1/5 stars, no hesitation.

Visited Water World. It was honestly kind of boring. None of the rides actually worked. The fish were really cool, though! Those albino gators were just beautiful! That almost makes up for the rides. The cafeteria was unfortunately very confusing, and for that, I must give it 3/5 stars.

Was scavenging for supplies in Level 99 and I found a destroyed tent next to a couple of empty bottles of almond water. I also found a journal which I'm willing to share with you guys if yall want, but it's pretty strange because Level 99 isn't supposed to have anyone else here.
Does anyone know what level should I move into? I'm looking for a level that is maximally a class 2, electronics work there and I can leave it easily if I want.

Well, I was traveling at level 68, don't ask me how I got there, but it's cool, seriously, it reminds me of some songs that were played in the frontrooms, but I can't remember them. This really exists in frontrooms, hm, it doesn't even seem that fake, I've seen some posts here that were deleted, from a frontrooms website that I don't even know how they got into, and they said they only got the first 15 levels right, everything else was wrong, they said that level 999 was a tunnel that led to the frontrooms, like, leaving the backrooms, man, that doesn't make any sense.

If you're not careful and noclip out of reality in the wrong areas, you'll end up in the Frontrooms, where it's nothing but the smell of polluted air, the madness of traffic-filled streets, the endless background noise of passers-by at maximum buzz, and approximately 500 hundred million square kilometres of randomly segmented office buildings to be trapped in. God save you if you've done anything with money, because it sure as hell's leaving you.

I just so happen to be near a M.E.G. Outposts rn, I've already reported everything to the officials, but I can recap here:
It's a location reached by getting a concussion in one of these levels (Level 0, Level 11, etc.)
You need to help him ASAP, as after half an hour, the level will start to collapse on itself
The long shadowy figure is harmless and is only there for paranoia
Leaving that level requires some very specific and complex movements, so I won't list them here, and I also already explained them to the officials, so he should be free soon

Thanks for the help in locating him. The M.E.G. found his body near the exit in Level 112 you went over in the meeting. He was found with Liquid Pain injected in his bloodstream. We assumed that he committed suicide due to the extreme mental stress he experienced in the level and the traumatic events that occurred immediately before. He was emaciated and dehydrated. Thanks to your help, we have deemed you fit to join the R.E.U. and you'll have recommendation from us on any application for joining to the M.E.G. or the Backrooms Colonists. Thank you for your assistance.

Nevermind, not new. But I have a trick to identify what level you're on.
1 - Take some Almond Water and spill some.
2 - Wait approximately 30-40 minutes.
3 - You should see some numbers start to form. These are not the numbers of the level you are on.
4 - Find any item from the level, preferably very small, and dip it in the spilt Almond Water.
5 - The numbers should rearrange into the level you are on.

How exactly did you enter this level?
Are you alone on the level?
What type of food do you see?
What's the build number of your level? You can check this by eating until you're full, and then banging your head against a wall to fall unconscious. If you see a number that begins with "78007" while unconscious, that's the build number.
I entered this level from Level 68419 by noclipping into a wall, I am indeed alone. The food are all snacks like biscuits, however, I did not see any number starts with 78007. I saw a number started with 33965 instead. I don't have insurance.

Ugh, this is gonna be tough without insurance. And that number starting 33965, yeah I can guess the rest of it from the rest of your info(it's 33965729102, the BackManifest). Bear with me here, it's gonna be hard but we're getting you outta there. Try doing the following in order, if one doesn't work, try the next.
You're not banging the wall hard enough
Try diving head-first into the wall while running as fast as you can. If you fall unconscious from the impact, you should be out of the level when you regain consciousness, most probably the one where you entered from.
Go into a food coma
If the above step doesn't work, try eating a large amount of biscuits to trigger a food coma. Then sleep while covering yourself in those biscuits. This can teleport you to a relatively safe level.
Draw a ritual circle with pulverized biscuits, and summon the Biscuit Monster
You can easily find the instructions for it in the BackDatabase. He should send you to Level 903821: "BirmingDon", that place is awful, but still has known exits. Try this as a last resort.
As you may or may not know, the database is kinda ass now. The quality of the pages has declined, the community has become toxic, and the barrier to getting a report verified has only gotten higher. Things have stagnated, so I think it's about time we shake things up.

They forced him to live in a cupboard and barely fed him (wait, that's child abuse) until a big-ass man named Hagrid came to escort Harry from his house to Hogwarts Castle and Harry learns about his past when his parents died. While there, he met Ron and they became best friends (yippee!) and then that little bitch Hermione came in and she was like this know-it-all ahhhh nerd. But then she defeated a troll that was gonna unalive both Ron and Harry and then they became best friends. During that time, Quirrell tried to steal the Sorcerer's Stone to revive THE FALLEN LORD but ultimately failed and got burned to death by an 11-year old's hands.
Oh and I forgot to mention Harry also became one of the youngest Seekers in the world for over a century (main character priority, am i right?)
Book 2 - The Chamber of Secrets
So now Harry is in year 2, and- oh shit Gilderoy Lockhart is a teacher there now, not that annoying piece of dung! Anyways during this year he was found out to be a parseltounge (which is basically Snake language) and the Chamber of Secrets was open so a rumor spread that he was SLYTHERIN'S ALMIGHTY HEIR but it turns out it was already open like 40 years ago by some random dude named Tom Riddle and he had to fight a 50m long snake and won because of Dumbledore's help.
Book 3 - The Prisoner of Azkaban
Harry is in year 3 and is enjoying lif- oh shit nevermind there's a murderer on the loose. Harry doesn't think much of this until he went to a cafe and heard his teachers talk about whether Harry should be told that Sirius Black, the murderer on the news, had given Voldemort his parents' hiding spots. And then Harry went on a 1-year mission to hunt this guy, which he was successful and almost killed Sirius until one of his teachers, Remus Lupin, told Harry Potter the truth that Sirius was innocent but framed by Ron's pet rat. You heard me right, that rat was actually Pettigrew and he faked his death to frame Sirius. Then Harry and Sirius became best friends.

I found some weird metal strewn across the floor and it took me to this new area. It kinda looks like a really old factory. It has a bunch of moss around it, but its like poison ivy. I have these rashes on my hand now from it. There's this dark hallway and I think theres light at the end. Do I go through?

Just trust me on this one. It might take a bit. If you wanna risk it, driving in one of the cars will send you to Level 178. It's risky, because it's kind of a dangerous level and you don't know where you go when you leave it, but its better than nothing.
I think so. Try noclipping into a tree, it takes you to Level 427. Has some entities but a ton of communities. If you can find a community fast enough I think you can survive there.
If you're still alive, find a house with oriental decorations. Going in will either bring you to Level 437 or 909. Pray it's 437, because 909 leads to 910, which is Class 5. 437 is dangerous, but finding a car in perfect condition in the parking lot and sitting in it will bring you to Level 711. YOO HES ALIVE!!! Since you found a car, drive it, it takes you to Level 178. It's free of dangers, just get into a car and relax. Don't mind the paralysis, it's documented and safe. The car drives on its own, once you reach the end you get to a random level, hopefully a safe one. Pray it doesn't drive into a lake, drowning there leads to Level 910 and its not a nice place to be.

Guys...I made a huge discovery on Level 7. I found it. I found the edge of the ocean. Me and a crew of nineteen other wanderers ventured for three months to see what we could find. We headed north. After 92 days we thought we saw a wall. Was all the searching finally done? After another day, we reached a very large concrete wall, I'd say a mile high. There was another large concrete slab that we sheltered ourselves on, just high enough to avoid the roaring currents. We are currently devising a plan to climb up the wall. Updates pending...wish me luck, I am scared.
