The Backrooms Association of the Red Cross[]

Description[]

Since its conception in the early 21st century, a group of physician’s interrogation into a hypothetical medical-based organisation has ultimately culminated into the modern day Association of the Red Cross. Founded off the healing ministry of Jesus, their initial inception restructured modern cognizance of contemporary therapeutic philosophy, and further recognised that for a permanent inhabitance of man within the Backrooms, the study of Medicine becomes a necessary desideratum.​​ The conceptualization of the Association of the Red Cross primarily was founded on the cornerstone of emancipation of the wanderer from the constraints of injury and ailment, along with the neutralisation of biological and chemical pathogens located throughout the Backrooms’ labyrinthine hallways. In contrast to other groups, who care solely for themselves, the Red Cross seeks to distribute their philosophies and knowledge, and remodel the perception of contemporary medical understanding.

History[]

The Backrooms Association of the Red Cross was first established in the early 20th century, founded as a small medical/humanitarian network situated around the Level 1. Aimed at the providence of medical attention to those suffering from injury or ailment, the Red Cross at that time only consisted of a few field hospitals surrounding Level 1. However, upon the late 20th century, the Red Cross had expanded towards a myriad of different levels, permitting the Red Cross to extend medical services to more isolated communities. The association stands to this day as one of the only Christian-based groups, and the forefront to pioneering medicine within the backrooms.

Departments[]

Department of Clinical Medicine

The Department of Clinical Medicine, colloquially known as “Red Front” primarily pertains to the medical response and treatment of trauma/emergency casualties delivered to Red Cross Field Hospitals/Outposts. Composed entirely of Doctors of Medicine and Surgery, the Department of Clinical Medicine is the cornerstone for all in-patient procedures and treatment, and the backbone for medically related operations at Red Cross institutions.

Department of Field Medicine

The Department for Field Medicine, colloquially known as “First Response” primarily pertains to the medical response and treatment of severe trauma/emergency casualties on field. Composed entirely of Doctors of Medicine, the Department of Field Medicine is a key figure in the distribution of medical aid throughout the Backrooms and its labyrinthine level makeup.

Department of Biomedical Research

Since its conception in the early 21st century, the Biomedical Research Department is the cornerstone behind biological research within the Backrooms, tasked with the study and neutralisation of several existing pathogens and a variety of other substances. Whilst a minor department within the Red Cross, the Research Command plays a significant importance in the functioning of the association, along with being a key component in the advancement of biomedical research within the Backrooms.

BRCSM | School of Medicine

The Backrooms Red Cross provides several educational opportunities both to those interested in joining the BRC, or gaining qualifications to work in other group's medical or research departments. The BRC St. Thomas School of Medicine is a 4 Year program aimed to preparing candidates for receiving their Doctor of Medicine (M.D) and become a practicing physician. Over said 4 years, candidates would undergo education in Biology (Anatomy/Physiology), Biochemistry, Pathology, Health Sciences etc and would need to pass their respective courses in order to obtain their Doctor of Medicine.

BRCSS | School of Biomedical Sciences

The Backrooms Red Cross provides several educational opportunities both to those interested in joining the BRC, or gaining qualifications to work in other group's medical or research departments. The BRC St. Albert School of Biomedical Sciences is a 2 year program aimed to preparing candidates for receiving either one of the following: Bachelor of Medical Sciences, Biology, Chemistry etc. Over said 4 years, candidates would undergo education in their chosen field and would need to pass their respective courses in order to obtain their bachelor.

BCP/BCS | Backrooms College of Physicians/Surgeons

The Backrooms College of Physicians/Surgeons (either BCP/BCS) is the primary body under the Backrooms Red Cross who admits and registers Surgeons and Physicians either in the BRC or in other groups under the college, and grants them a certification to practice their said profession. The BRP/BCS is further delegated the responsibility of overseeing such, ensuring proper health and practice standards are continuously abided to, and supervising the training of/admitting Attending Physicians/Consultants. Attendings who are admitted receive the title of FBCP or FBCS depending on their specialty (Fellow of the Backrooms College of Physicians/Surgeons)

Biomedical Archives Division

In contrast to other groups, who care solely for themselves, the Red Cross seeks to distribute their philosophies and knowledge, and remodel the perception of contemporary medical understanding.

The Biomedical Archives Division is a sub-department within the Department of Biomedical Research primarily tasked with the documentation, organisation and registration of new diseases/pathogens, medical/research facilities, and files affiliated with the Red Cross. Whilst a smaller sub-department within the DBR, the Biomedical Archives Division plays a crucial role in the management of information within the Red Cross.
