About

Backrooms Space Center is a major tech company in The Backrooms with exclusive licenses being signed with the M.E.G and various other powerful Backrooms organizations. The Company was first established in 1980 with the release of RetroLook, a mapping program developed for the Backrooms, but would later rebrand in the 1990s as the Company expanded their business model to include Missile Development and distance itself from the failures of RetroLook Alpha that nearly bankrupted the company.

Developments

RetroLook

RetroLook, the precursor to BSCOS and the cause of much of the early success of exploration groups such as the M.E.G & [PLACEHOLDER] were created in 1980 by the (BSC) Backrooms Space Corporation in conjunction with [PLACEHOLDER]. Retrolook was designed to be a formidable mapping asset that would be capable of compiling images taken and weave into a complex layered map but, numerous delays and project short sights resulted in the 1.0 variants being coated in bugs and largely inoperable outside of small mapping expeditions during its alpha release until the addition of version 1.7. In mid 1991 and on the brink of bankruptcy, the BSC released RetroLook 1.7, a substantial improvement upon the alpha variant capable of compiling large numbers of photos together with minimal issue, for public use. The project still had a way to go in development but picked up enough popular support to stave off the complete collapse of the BSC.

BSCO

With the success of RetroLook, the BSC underwent complete rebrand of RetroLook to BSCO to give the system a more modern appeal and distance itself from the shortcomings of RetroLook Alpha. The BSCO version 1.0 was the first variant developed that experienced minimal bugs, with the system working entirely as planned. The development of this smooth system brought it into the hands of the M.E.G with an exclusive equipment license signed by the BSC(provision 113A) to make the BSC the sole supplier of mapping technologies to the M.E.G. The BSC now experiencing a golden era in the late 2020, released BSCO 2.0, the latest development by the Backrooms Space Corporation in its mapping technology. For the first time since its inception, the program was compatible of importing video files into the map creator, allowing for a rapid surge in level mapping and the quality of said mapping. The new BSCO v2 was also capable of integrating Phongton technology with the usage of a new extensions service, allowing for further level documentation to be attached directly to the map rather than having to be stored on alternate programs or databases.

Ballistic Missiles

In its early days the BSC was obsessed with developing missiles, creating numerous short-medium range ballistic missiles. The V-120 was the first rocket designed by the BSC and was created for use against entity infestations in multiple levels. The short-range ballistic missile was poorly designed however and rarely detonated upon impact, leaving the BSC to design a new rocket, the Y-62. The Y-62 was a bolder attempt at the Ballistic Missile development with a renewed ambition years after the failures of the Y-120 to create a successful project. Unlike the V-120, the Y-62 saw combat usage in various incidents throughout the late 1990s. Beyond the occasional display of said missiles in museums however they have largely been decommissioned with seeing service since the dawn of this new millennium.

Contracts

Backrooms Space Center™ Provision 113A: The Backrooms Space Center (to be referred to as the BSC under chapter 3), will enter into an exclusive trade licensing with the Major Exploration Group (to be referred to as M.E.G in all future provisions), in which exclusive access to BSCO software shall be authorized no less than 3 months before general use, until such a time where this provision is considered void and nonbinding.

Discovery (Work In Progress)

Pictural discovery

A M.E.G picturer pictured Level 11's BSC HQ. It took 2 pictures, a closeup and inside.

Second Pictures

A Kauer scientist pictured with 4 M.E.G picturers, it took 4 pictures, inside, closeup, the shops and rocket 2320.

Third Pictures

A partygoer pictured one of the rockets. And the partygoer died as it seems that he is near the rockets.

Corporate Locations

In 1889 he played the elevator game and went to Level 11. He walked across the road, and saw a structure looking like the HQ. It's the HQ. It's Level 11 structure is a complex with all BSC-Related stuff. The Almond Water shop, Backrooms Space Merchandise, and a jetpack also contains inside. In Level 161, the structure is a structural building and with a dome on top. It is with BSC-Related Stuff. The Almond Water shop, Backrooms Space Merchandise and a jetpack contains inside.
