Description
Bee Orbs are very similar to bees from the Frontrooms, with a few key differences. Unlike ordinary bees, Bee orbs are perfectly spherical, and are usually around 4-8x the size of the average bee, with the largest ones being around 100x the size of a normal bee. Unlike ordinary bees, they have no visible eyes or legs but instead possess a stinger that remains retracted and not visible unless they are provoked. Because of the Bee Orbs spherical body and lack of legs, the stinger is significantly longer and more curved in order to allow them to latch on to targets and sting them. When in an agitated state, these bees have been known to fly at speeds of up to 20 mph in pursuit of Wanderers.
Behavior
Bee Orbs are usually found traveling in groups of 5 or 6, though larger and smaller groups have been found. These groups are commonly referred to as Bumbles, due to the way the Bee Orbs will fly around in a seemingly disoriented manner, constantly bumping into walls, objects, and each other clumsily. When they bump into objects, they will enter an agitated state during which their stinger will become visible, and they will sting anything that appears threatening or makes sudden movements. If they bump into you, do not panic, as panicking will only serve to agitate them even more and cause them to view you as a threat.
When one Bee Orb begins stinging, all the others in its Bumble will follow, and attack until the perceived threat is neutralized. In stark contrast to their usual behavior, they will become remarkably coordinated and move in near perfect unison as they pursue their target. This has led some to believe that their bumbling nature is less of a matter of clumsiness, and is instead more similar to the predatory behavior of sharks that will bump into things to determine if the object is capable of being eaten.
Blood Honey
Once something has been stung by a Bee Orb, it will be injected with a venom known as Honey Toxin. This toxin will act in a manner similar to spider venom by liquifying any internal organic tissue surrounding the injection area, and turning it into a similar albeit non-toxic liquid known as Blood Honey. This substance is described as being very similar to ordinary honey, but will have a red coloration and taste of "cherry flavored honey".
Discovery
The entity was discovered when a wanderer first entered Room 5 of Level 2004, where Bee Orbs could be seen flying around the area, seemingly confused.
