What is a Canon?[]
The Backrooms are and always will be a mystery at large, despite the amount of documentation and research the wiki has. However, with the increasing numbers of theories, speculations eventually form into concrete beliefs. Each individual has their own interpretation of the Backrooms, thus determining what is canon, according to their opinion.
It must be stressed that canons are not inherently self-contained. A page belonging to a specific canon does not mean it doesn't exist outside its respective canon; it may still be part of the general lore. While we open ourselves and welcome everyone to contribute to the community, naturally, we only accept those that pass our standard of quality. As per the page rules, any pages that do not fulfill the necessary standard will either be improved or deleted. By following the same rule, only canons that pass our quality standards may be added to this page. As more will be added in the future, please assist in keeping this page updated. Anyone is allowed to insert their canons into this list, assuming they have a minimum of 5 pages — not including the canon's hub — which pass the quality standards.

I am not a new being, oblivious to the extent that reality has been twisted in incomprehensible ways. I was here before this all happened, and I will remain here as the universe dissolves further into madness.
My time will come soon. But first, let me tell one final story. A story of forgotten heroes, useless martyrs, and the struggle to survive an unstoppable force.
Let's start at the beginning.

Humans are interesting anomalies. The human experience is characterized by what each human being experiences on a mental, emotional, spiritual, physical, and social level. This experience shapes your perception of reality. The three aspects of the human experience that will be explored in this 'canon' are following:
- The strong desire to explore the unknown and unfamiliar.
- To question one's place in reality.
- Survival.
Human exploration is often a rewarding experience as it helps you grow and develop as people, enrich your lives, expose you to new people and ideas, etc. Humans questioning their place, in reality, gave birth to religion, psychology, philosophy, science, etc., to help you understand what it means to be human and understand the world around you. The human will to survive and adapt is the reason humans as a species have flourished and evolved to populate almost every corner of The Frontrooms.
Human discovery of The Backrooms has not been so forgiven.
The Backrooms is a messy place where many wanderers are unfortunately no-clipped. For them, dealing with anomalies, entities, and levels is a daily struggle.
What if something worse happened than those who live in the Backrooms? These came from beyond its borders from these multiple layers of this reality, and they are coming.

Welcome to the world of Liminality.
A mysterious substance arose to the surface of the Earth which people now call "The Void", humans panicked and were absorbed by the gooey substance as it continued to rise, consuming every galaxy in its path. No matter how much terrestrial life was in space, no matter how much they struggled to stay alive, it kept absorbing. Soon, it had completely absorbed space and time itself, but a powerful being capable of omnipotent powers wanted to create a horrifying chamber for the terrestrial life that remained. So, the being created the Backrooms, a dimension of infinite liminal spaces that come in many different forms created by pure evil as some sort of endless nightmare, whilst The Frontrooms, was sucked away. Humans who arrive here cannot escape, due to the mysterious substance that continues to conquer space to this day. The mysterious being found out that the people that had been trapped in the dimension it created were slowly adapting, so it added more terrifying, unexplained places that was categorized as The Boundaries. Little did the being know, there was a flaw in the system, a flaw that could restore space and mankind, a flaw deeply rooted in The Boundaries, however, it is yet to be found.

This is my journal where I write and draw stuff! I haven't used this thing a lot but ever since Flann and I got into this place called "The Backrooms", I've been using it more than I did back home! To add on top of that, Flann and I have been on some pretty wacky adventures (which I usually write about), with a lot of them being scary for the most part.

The Backrooms, their entities, and the cruel fate of many locked up here are just a whim of an ephemeral craving. You can call it "Hell" if you like, but you can't deny that this horrible place was made for mankind.
