Recovered by museum workers, this diary follows a man named Daniel and his adventures no clipping into the Backrooms. He had no experience, no modifications or perks or anything to help him out. This is the diary.
Day 1
I was on my way to work, bought a new diary for myself, and went on the metro to my job site. However, once I boarded the train, I started sinking, clipping through anything in the way, and all that surrounded me twenty seconds later was yellow walls. No way this was a prank, after all, I started sinking and no one payed attention to me. I took out my phone and frantically searched for where I could be. No signal. Strange. When I did find some sort of signal, it was from near a device in the ground by the way, on a tripod, I searched up where I could be to no avail. I did find this place called, "The Backrooms", but I am yet to meet anything that could prove it is. I actually managed to find some variant of water and food, so I'm going to sleep next to that device. Hopefully, I can charge my phone here.
Day 2
I know I'm going to run out of supplies, if anything doesn't kill me first, so I started wandering a few miles in a random direction. The closest thing I found to civilisation was an old camp, secured by a mediocre wall around it. While my phones connectivity got increased, I doubt it is human for now. But then, I saw a human like person with no face. I nope'd out of there. Nothing too much today. Attempted to pick up some frequencies, and got my phone to broadcast a radio station called, "Backroom Colonists Radio", to see if there was much going on, but it mostly seemed like endless chit and chatter, songs, among other announcements so I just not listened to it for now.
Day 3
I found a sliding door. Finally, I can get something new from this! I went in, and found a metro system. Really funny guys. But I actually saw living humans this time! I talked for a bit, and some people gave me information about what levels to go to, what groups to join, what stuff to stock if you weren't going to join a group for now, tons and tons of stuff. When I went on the actual train, I kept waiting. Tons of people got off at certain spots, and it was only me for a bit of time. I decided to exit, and I went into the level known as "The Hub." This level, you can teleport to tons of different levels, plus the ones you already been too. I already unlocked Level 0, and The Metro from being there, but also get access to Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and from what I got told Level 4/Level -1 by a chance, and Level 25 and some sort of a cryptic worded level. Most of the above, being 0 to 3, 25 and The Metro were unlocked, but Level 4 with that chance one was achieved by no clipping. I decided to go back to The Metro to rest, and figure where I should go next.
Day 4
I decided to try and explore a bit and try and get to Level 4. My goal overall was founding my own group, and I wanted to mostly stay in Level 5 or Level 4 from what I heard by other wanderers, and if I manage to find a settlement, I should be okay. I walked for a bit, following some other wanderers trying to get to Level -1 by noclipping, and we all no clipped together. We talked for a bit, these wanderers were from a mix of groups, and were all just a tiny part of an expedition team finding and reaching special levels. They themselves were seeing if The Whiteout was still open in any form, and they even gave me some special cashew water, it tasted a bit weird, so I just continued on my almond water supply. I managed to noclip into Level 4, (yay!) During this, I met some wanderers from another group, called The Backroomians. They gave me some extra almond water, which I was running low on, and I managed to go back to their base and talk to some people. Lucky me. They talked about more things related to The Backrooms, like loads on levels, and asked me a few questions. While there are many levels I got told to try and head to in the future, they did seem to agree with my Level 5 plan, and stocked me with some more supplies, and told me to wander around. After all, there was a few outpost and bases near by this one, and some of them had exits to Level 5. I am going to sleep a few miles off in an abandoned settlement just off "Base Malt", as they called it, so good night.
Day 5
I got told by everyone that most levels aren't safe. Turns out, they were right. Once I woke up, I saw a few entities, and since I don't want to die, I climbed into a vent. While the group had told me Level 4 and it's exit levels were mostly safe, I doubt that any levels are truly safe. I ended up in a level I was never told about by the group. See, I was told about The Main Nine by the group, among The Hub and Metro, with some other levels by the group and random wanderers, but no one told me about this! It seemed like a giant area filled with boxes, with endless walls of concrete with pink insulation surrounding me. I decided to look in and take some boxes, and fortunately for me, there's no entities in miles and all the boxes were filled with almond water galore. Not only that, it was very relaxing having no one coming to get me. I spent the whole day there, and even settled in a campsite and fortified it, just in case. Nothing much happened today, just exploration of this level. I'll call it, The Box Station, if nobody has named it already. I wonder if there are any more sublevels or more. From what there could be, there probably is infinite, or at least a few hundred. Well, good night.
