EX-1 - "The Deep Lobby"

C5Icon.png

Survival Difficulty: Class 5e - Environmental
》Unsafe
》Unsecure
》Numerous Non-Entity Hazards

Description

> EX-1 is the first level of The Extent, and a mirror of Level 0.

> The once mono-yellow walls have turned blindingly yellow, and the fluorescent lights have all been damaged, only lighting up for brief moments about every five seconds.

> The somewhat understandable terrain has been warped into a maddening non-euclidean environment, with some sections being damaged and leading into The Void, while some sections have the floor both above and below you, with gravity flipping once you reach a certain altitude. Due to the nature of this level, colonies are impossible to form, as it is impossible to meet other people in this level.

> Many casualties have resulted from explorations of the level, and research is extremely dangerous due to the conditions of the level.

Entities

> While it is likely that entities inhabit this level, it is most likely impossible to encounter them.

Colonies and Outposts

> No known colonies exist on this level.

Entrances and Exits

> This level can be entered by chance while wandering Level 0, and going far enough through this level leads to EX-2.

>Opening Addendum...

> Hello? We have some new... revelations. We recently found an exit to Level 0 from here, with a catch.

> I kid you not, this place, it was... spreading.

>It was converting sections of Level 0 into itself. Warped the terrain, damaged the lights, changed the walls.

> Couple that with the increase of people encountering this level... and that should paint an incredibly disturbing image.

> I'm not one to speak on what you should do, but if I were you, I'd think we need to pay more attention to this, maybe even inform the public.

> I don't think we have much time left. -Research Branch 056
