Entity 112 The Armless

Entity 112, colloquially known as "The Armless", "The Solitary People", or "The Starers", (Scientific name homo solitare.) is a highly intelligent and solitary entity found in dark levels and hills, most notably Level 1, Level 10.99, and Level 2. Entity 112 is vulnerable to extinction due to a massive wave of erraneous murders of instances of this entity due to being confused with other entities. Entity 112 can be encountered on dark levels and outdoor levels, mainly in hills with an absence of trees. Entity 112 likely originated in Level 2, where they thrived, eventually making their way to Level 1, Level 268, Level 3, and Level 477, among others. 30% of the vision of Entity 112 is deformed, although Entity 112 can see exceedingly well in the darkness in its vision's non-deformed areas. Entity 112 has the ability to modify pictures of both regular cameras and security cameras within a 30-mile radius of its current location, which makes the pictures distorted, black and white, grainy, and of low quality. This ability was later called "Image Modification". According to rumors, staring into the eyes of Entity 112 may result in extreme paranoia, hallucinations, and phobias, among others. One may need years of therapy to fully recover from eye contact with Entity 112. Some may even turn into Wretches after eye contact. Entity 112's voice seems to be a distorted, muffled, reversed phrase in an unknown language.

Various theories have been developed regarding the origins of Entity 112. One theory says this entity may have been wanderers from the pre-historical period who mutated and evolved to survive in the harsh, cold, darkened levels, which would explain their appearance, sounds, intellect, etc. Another theory says Entity 112 originated from Skin-Stealers that overwent extreme conditions, such as extreme cold or a full absence of light, causing evolution. Many other theories exist regarding Entity 112's origins; however, none can be truly confirmed, and little to no proof exists.

Recently, various pictures and descriptions have been reported of writings by instances of Entity 112. According to specialists, these writings are supposedly in Latin, meaning they are a form of protest against the wanderers, claiming Entity 112 has been humiliated, massacred, and forced to live in caverns. Said writings also propose an attack on wanderers—a war. The writings also agree on the fact that, if a war were to happen, Entity 112 would defeat the humans. More writings seem to appear over time, mainly on Levels 1 and 2. The writings are also becoming more aggressive and threatening. Although no instances of Entity 112 have shown the level of aggressiveness of the writings, Tthe most accepted theory is that the writers are a small but rapidly growing group.

Behavior[]

Entity 112 is very solitary; it is known for preferring to be alone. Entity 112 will attempt to make other nearby instances leave its area; if the strategy is proven to have failed, the instance will migrate. According to studies, most instances of this entity seem to have a mental illness, most commonly depression. Entity 112 is very intelligent, demonstrating having a higher IQ than that of a human at times. Entity 112 is known for running away from wanderers due to an immense fear of essentially all living beings. Entity 112 has a great hunger, being regularly found ravaging stores and marketplaces at all levels in search of nourishment. When searching for food, Entity 112 will become exceedingly aggressive and protective of its food; however, if the being nearby is equipped with a weapon, it will continue to be fearful. Entity 112 will become aggressive when fed. There have been various reports of instances of Entity 112 preparing traps for wanderers, which is uncommon. Some instances of Entity 112 have shown the behavior of constantly staring at all nearby beings from afar, causing great discomfort for anyone who experienced it. Entity 112 frequently wanders in levels searching for a dwelling, most of the time being a bush, a cave, or an actual home built by Entity 112, frequently from plants, wood, and stone.

Entity 112 can also become aggressive when triggered; it may be due to irritation, stealing food, following, or staring at Entity 112, among others. It is highly recommended to not irritate Entity 112, as doing so may make the entity aggressive. Various cases have been filed of Entity 112 eating dead humans, although such an occurrence is relatively rare. Entity 112 normally only devours humans that were previously dead before their encounter. Entity 112 only eats living humans in cases of extreme starvation, with no other nearby food being present. These instances have also shown to be midly territorial, unlike the remaining instances of Entity 112.

There have been several instances of Entity 112 wandering around levels with no destiny or goal. simply wandering, with no intellect or sentience. They will constantly stalk all living beings and run for no reason. They grab objects and throw them. The instances frequently die within several weeks. These instances have been shown to attack other beings for no reason whatsoever. They also seem to have lost their fearful, solitary behavior, making them more friendly. The instances will refuse to consume any drink or nourishment, only accidentally absorbing energy from grass.

Recovered Notes[]

Recovered Note #1[]

So, I was told to describe the appearance of a marketplace I found. Uhm, the boss forced me to make these "dEsCrIpTiVe" and "fOrMaL", so here you go...

I see a ravaged and destroyed marketplace. Various products are on the ground, and the products are dirty. Lots of partially eaten nourishment scattered around the floor. Many shelves have fallen to the ground. Mud is on the floor. A pathway composed of a dark liquid. Chairs have fallen to the ground. A lightbulb has fallen to the ground. The marketplace's lighting is dim, with lamps almost falling and being held up by wires. There are also wires scattered around the walls. There are several holes in the ceiling and walls. A dark, armless, humanoid figure can be seen crouching on the floor far away. I believe it's Entity 112; it's producing strange sounds, and it seems to be... Eating? I'll leave now; that thing can't see me, or I'll be fucked.

Recovered Note #2[]

Weird... I see weird things around the pipe place. I see writing on the walls—crappy writing, but still writing. It says "CONIUNCTI SUMUS", what does that mean? But I see a lot of other things in the parking lot too, and in that other darker parking lot too. It's really weird, but... I think it's Entity 112 again. They're always up to something; what is it this time? Are they going to write texts? And what's next? Armless outposts? Not sure... But we need to de-escalate this; these writings seem aggressive in all caps. How do they even know our language? Oh yeah, human-level intellect. I'll investigate some more; I gotta find out what it is... Just for reference, I'll put the writings I found here: "Fuimus figurata nimis longum! CENTURIA!", "VIVIT IN ANTRIS, TIMORE! DE QUO? NIHIL!", "ORIGO! ORIGO! PRO 112!", and "NON DEFICERE! vincemus! Non sinas nos humiliare errantes!". It's really weird, but I strongly believe my theory is correct; I literally see the number 112!

Recovered Note #3[]

Uhm, apparently, it's Latin? According to the researcher, how do these entities know Latin? I'm seeing more spread around levels, the wheat camp sub-levels... The warehouse, the dark parking lot, the other parking lot and sub-levels, the pipes... If I had a nickel every time I saw these writings, I'd have 56 nickels—not much, but it's weird that it happened 56 times... They are getting smarter and more aggressive. Of course, it could be only a small quantity, or literally just one. I don't need to worry, right? That wouldn't be good. I saw a text saying "HOMICIDIUM", and I think I know what it means already... I'll go investigate more...

Recovered Note #4[]

Holy... SHIT. They are making outposts and colonies now? They are going crazy! I stumbled into one! I am afraid of what may come next. I'm no longer going to explore that level. I see writing close to the outpost. A campfire? I'm not going to try to elaborate... I'm done; I'm going to a habitable level; no more of this...

Writings found in Level 1.[]

"Unus scit, plenam felicitatem bello effici non posse. Primum est pax interior, et pax exterior". The writing was erased and scratched, later replaced with the message, "IACET, IACET, IACET! Noli credere! BELLUM! Omnes errantes neca!". Explorers are currently attempting to decode the messages. Various other messages were left surrounding this writing: "vincere nos oportet.", "Atria vincemus!" and "ETIAM! Fistulae vince!" and "SODES NO! EXTINCTUS ERIMUS!".

Biology[]

Entity 112 takes on the appearance of a dark, armless, humanoid figure; it lacks most facial features, having only two large eyes with small, pitch-black pupils. Its head seems to be deformed, being slightly wider than that of a pre-historic human being. Entity 112's legs are notably very long, normally 80 centimeters in height. Another notable feature distinguishing Entity 112 from humans is its lack of toes. Entity 112 will frequently ooze a black liquid out of its body, which creates a path, demonstrating where it has walked. This liquid seems to evaporate into methane gas a small number of hours later. The dark liquid oozed by Entity 112, known as "Grain Fluid", is highly toxic and may kill any being that comes into contact with it. Entity 112 is very sensitive to temperatures; a temperature lower than 0 degrees Celsius (32 degrees Fahrenheit.) can kill a specimen. A temperature higher than 52 degrees Celsius (125,6 degrees Fahrenheit) can also kill Entity 112. This entity is very light, having only 22 kilograms (48.5 pounds.). Entity 112 is rapid, being able to run from one university to another in seconds, for scale. Entity 112 seems to become stronger in its state of aggressiveness.

Entity 112's diet mainly comprises Almond Water, Backshrooms, meat, and vegetables. Entity 112 can roughly last a month without eating and 5 weeks without Almond Water. Entity 112 can absorb energy from plants as a way to prevent starvation. As Entity 112 has no mouth, various theories have been created regarding how it eats. The most accepted theory is that, similarly to how it absorbs energy from plants, Entity 112 can make its skin less solid, resulting in nourishment sinking into its body. It is also unknown how Entity 112 drinks; it is widely believed Entity 112 absorbs water into its body, similarly to a kitchen sponge from the Frontrooms. If Entity 112 runs out of energy, it will begin using its own body energy to mass-convert nutrients and blood into energy, eventually resulting in a rapid death.

An image of an Armless. It was later confirmed false.

Discovery[]

Entity 112's discovery is disputed; however, reportedly, the entity was sighted on Level 131 in November 2011 by a large group of explorers. The entity was quickly photographed before running away. Another event reported to be the discovery of Entity 112 is when a group of wanderers met an instance of the entity in Level 2 in 1998. The group photographed the entity and ran away, believing it was a Skin-Stealer. Entity 112 could have also been discovered in Level 1. During an exploration by the B.I.F. in April of 2001, the wanderers quickly attacked Entity 112. The last theory on how Entity 112 was discovered is known as the "Road Discovery Theory", It agrees that Entity 112 was discovered at an unknown road level, likely Level 50. The theory was later debunked alongside the image confirming it. The B.I.F. exploration is the most accepted of the three "discoveries" of Entity 112.
