Description
Entity 86, also known as the "Playground Centipede", is a nomadic entity that transitions from level to level in search of prey. Rather than actively hunting down wanderers, it waits for them to approach it before launching an attack.
Behavior
Entity 86 has no set habitat; it moves where it pleases. it prefers to settle at playgrounds in order to blend into its surroundings. If playgrounds are not present, it will place itself near colonies, especially ones with a high population of children under the age of 10.
Entity 86 preys off of the curious. It stands motionless until an unfortunate wanderer gets within a 3 foot range of the entity. Once the criteria has been met and the wanderer is close enough to the entity, it will strike. Entity 86's preferred method of attack is to crush prey using its body. Once one is caught in Entity 86's grasp it is very difficult, if not borderline impossible to escape as its grip is extremely powerful. Entity 86 will not let go of it's prey until it is absolutely certain it has perished. Entity 86 then seemingly extracts nutrients from the wanderer's corpse with a proboscis-like organ.
After feeding, Entity 86 will leave its current location and appear on another level. How it does this in such a short amount of time is unknown.
Biology
Entity 86 looks nearly identical to a playground jungle gym modeled in the shape of a centipede or caterpillar (hence the name "Playground Centipede"). Its body is entirely composed out of metal and plastic. Its eyes appear to be painted on, giving it an unnatural quality. Entity 86 possesses a proboscis, although it is only visible when it is feeding.
Discovery
The oldest known document detailing a sighting of Entity 86 is a tattered journal. While most of the journal is fairly ordinary, one entry seem to reference Entity 86.
