Cognitive Hazard
Description
Another photo of Hope
Hope is an infinite pier that's constantly in day, strangely it always feels pleasantly cool. The floor is smooth wood with a greyish color, the bars on the side of the pier are white and about a meter tall. The pier itself is about 3 meters wide. Frequent benches and lamp posts line the sides of this Level.
Hope's ocean is of unknown size and always appears how the person inside feels it should, a pleasant breeze blows through the pier as well. Ocean ambience can be heard here which also appears to calm the person inside this level. Notably this Level is similar to Level 0 because you can't see or interact with other people. Only 700,000 wanderers have entered this level.
Inside of Hope are multiple Cognitive Hazards. When affected by these Hazards the wanderer will always believe that if they walk a little bit farther, they will reach the Frontrooms, obviously this is false. Another Cognitive Hazard makes the affected believe that they don't need to rest, strangely this is true. The final Hazard manifests as extreme Hydrophobia and Thalassophobia, preventing wanderers from drinking almond water or jumping into the ocean.
Colonies and Outposts
Due to nature of Hope nobody has tried to make a outpost.
