Chapter 1: The Yellow Rooms.
"Yes, my life was truly perfect. I had a job, a nice car, and a nice house. I was surrounded by nice people. I was so delighted with my life. I have never been so happy. Little did I know that everything would change on the 6th of August, 2018. I was taking a stroll to the grocery store, chatting with my friend who was walking next to me. There was a branch on the ground, and I tripped over it. I fell through the ground, somehow, and landed in these bizarre, non-linear, mono-yellow rooms. I was so confused. Not only was I completely lost in this new dimension, but I was alone. I walked around, feeling more and more isolated as the seconds passed by. There was also this irritating buzzing noise that didn't seem to stop. I'm sure it nearly drove me insane. Hours and hours passed, although I had gotten nowhere. I had so much on my mind. Where am I? Where is my friend...? Why is it so empty and isolated here? I was wandering and wandering, and finally! Yes finally, I had found another group of people. One of them walked over to me and said, 'Hey there. You lost?' I told them how I ended up here and asked them if they knew where we were. 'Yeah, you're in the Backrooms. And I'm Mark. An Operative for M.E.G.' The... Backrooms? I am utterly confused... Mark brought me to a wall with an electrical socket and he was able to walk through it. I followed his lead, and we ended up in an even more bizarre world."
Chapter 2: The Next Step Forward.
"We got to another weird dimension that looked like an empty warehouse with puddles on the floor. I asked Mark all of the questions I had. 'Well, these are levels. The level you were previously in was Level 0. You are now in Level 1. There are a near infinite amount of levels, so don't expect to get back to your family that easily.' Mark's words truly made me sad, but it was the truth. Me and Mark walked around 'Level 1' until we found a base full of people with warm smiles, chatting and drinking what appeared to be Almond Water. Those people were very nice, and let us stay with them for a week. They even let us bring our own supply of food, Almond Water and weapons. They informed me that 'Entities' roamed these near infinite levels. Some were dangerous, some weren't. And then, the time came. My first ever encounter with an entity. Mark told me the entity was referred to as a 'hound'. Apparently they were very dangerous, and incredibly hostile. It stared at us for a while, and then ran after us. We sprinted and sprinted until Mark tripped and fell. I hid behind a wall thinking Mark was behind me, although a terrible fate met him. Mark couldn't get back up on his feet, and the hound attacked him and unfortunately killed him. I was devastated knowing that my new friend who had all the information about The Backrooms just got killed. I knew I had to continue on, alone."
Chapter 3: A New Challenge.
"Remembering all the information Mark had told me, I then appeared in level 2. He told me this level was the first real challenge to wanderers who are new to The Backrooms. I knew that things would take a turn from here. When I first spawned into the level, there was paintings on the walls saying things like, Things only get worse from here, you know that you are doomed, right? I felt absolutely terrified. I walked on and on and on for what seemed like hours. I had also noticed that there was doors everywhere, although most of them went nowhere. Some spots in the level got incredibly hot, unbearable for a human. It was then, in one of those hot spots, I met my friend. Yes, that same friend from The Frontrooms who witnessed me enter The Backrooms. They looked just as confused as me. If not, more confused. 'Phew! Thank god I found you. I've been wandering here for days now! Is this where you ended up when you tripped over that branch the other day?' They asked me plenty of questions, and based off of what Mark had told me, I answered honestly. We were both delighted to see each other. We settled for a few days in an empty room near one of those hot spots. Although it became unbearable so we decided to leave. Are we ever going to get out? This is becoming so tiring... This level was certainly more difficult than the previous ones, but luckily, we fell through the wall and ended up in Level 4 instead of Level 3, somehow.."
Chapter 4: Peace At Last
"Level 4. A safe level, at last. This level looked like an infinite, abandoned office space. The windows were blacked out, for some reason. There was lots of Almond Water, food, weapons and even people here! Me and my friends talked to some of the people who inhabited Level 4. 'I recommend staying in this level. It's a safe one, unlike the ones you are about to face. Just stay here. It's one of the only normal places in The Backrooms.' There was people in nearly every corner of this level. We decided to set up a base and settle down here. It was so peaceful, had plenty of food and Almond Water and was highly populated. We had stayed for over 2 years and it was then that I was contacted by M.E.G to join their group. I had to leave my friend, which I was very upset about. I knew I would never see them again, but I made new friends and a new family, in the M.E.G base of Level 4."
