Description:
Jar O' Bright, also known as Jar O' Light, Sparks in a Jar, or Beam Jar, is a very rare and valuable item within The Backrooms. This item could be obtained by either randomly coming across it within very dark levels or by trying to create it by hand (would not recommend).
Identification:
One can identify a Jar O' Bright by its eye-catching design. Jar O' Bright looks like a normal jar with white sparks/orbs inside it. These white specks contain a chemical that ministers a comforting essence that calms the nerves of the user.
Properties:
Jar O' Bright's components are yet to be broken down and identified. There are varying effects the jar exudes.
General Effects:
- Calming sensation.
- Decreased negative mental stress.
- Increased awareness.
- Increased cell reconstruction.
Secondary Effects:
- Mediumship. The ability to see ghosts (when the consumer is mentally broken or religous).
- Dissociative Identity Disorder (when the consumer is lacking in sanity) (user can manifest up to 5 alters).
- Adrenal Fatigue (only when moving too fast).
- Minor Paralysis (side-effect of adrenal fatigue.
- Visible Veins.
Usage:
Jar O' Bright can be used in many different way. Here are some examples for you to follow.
1. Effective Anti-Entity Beam
The user can use the jar as a energy canon that can kill agressive entities. One must open the jar and point towards the targeted entity, and simply wait for it to charge up the beam.
2. Healing Stream
The item can be used to charge up a healing stream that heals you and other individuals around you. To activate the stream, open the jar and say "Heal".
3. Light Implosion Grenade (Big Bang)
The item can be used as a grenade that will gather all light within the room/level. Once the room/level will be completely dark, the jar will then break and release a blinding light that can render wanderers and entities permanently blind throughout the room/level. In order to arm the grenade, yell "Lights Out!" as loud as you can and throw it with all your might. Be sure to cover your eyes.
4. One-Way Time Travel
The item can be used to travel through the cracks for time within a 1 hour time frame and can only be USED ONCE. One will end on either the past or the future.
Note: Do not time travel to the past in order to interact with yourself. You'll be a paradox. You will cease to exist.
