Description
Level ∞²
a small town, in the state of Illinois. It acts as a link from the back rooms to the front rooms, it is a ,now, common exit from the back rooms. The town is in the Front rooms, it is a normal town, except for the land's supernatural ability to resist the Back rooms. Not only are there no entities, but it is impossible to no-clip whatsoever, even if it wouldn’t take you into the back rooms. The town sits next to the Illinois river, and its main road stretches from one end of the town's “Border” to the others, you’ll see why I put the quotes in a minute, and it sits at around 5 miles long (8 km).The town has a current population of 6,218 residents. It is a modern town, with modern technology, it appears on maps, and can be visited. People commonly come and go from the town using the main road, but someone who has entered the backrooms, can’t leave for 3 years, as the city recognizes, you aren't an entity, but were involved with the backrooms. Over this three-year period, the city itself, helps you disassociate your memories of the back rooms with reality, your memories will still be there, but you won’t relive them in dreams, or anything else leading it to be called a “Decontamination Zone”. The only reason, this level is classed as a mental hazard, is, in the first month of being here, you still will think you’re in a backroom level, and constantly, be scared of anyone who approaches you thinking they are an entity. But, after this first month the city's supernatural effects take hold, and help you calm down. After the three year “Decontamination” process, you are free to go home, and continue your life in the front rooms, or you can choose to save there. If you do decide to leave, your chances of no-clipping into the back rooms drastically decrease, only being there a day lowers your chance to enter the back rooms by 5%, a resident that has been here for 10+ years, can never no-clip into the back rooms. This “Level” is named Level ∞² even though it is not in the back rooms, it has been given this designation, as it is infinitely associated with the back rooms as an exit,but infinitely not associated with the backrooms at the same time.
[Up Town]
The upper part of the city contains, 2 motels, a supermarket, 4 fast food joints, 3 restaurants, 2 gas stations, and other miscellaneous stores and housing, along with a library. The main road then branches off into little roads and they will go to, either 1 of the 3 schools, a neighborhood, the river, the gym, or the water park. It is also completely exempt from the backrooms, and is where most of the city's residents reside.
[Down Town]
Downtown is a relatively normal street. There is a police station, a town theater, and shops. Along with this there are restaurants and housing units. This borders the river and is a popular spot according to locals. Along with the rest of the town, the downtown area is exempt from the back rooms and it’s products. It is also where the “Spirit” resides the most.
NOT Entities
[The Spirit]
The spirit, was a Back rooms traveler, that met a gruesome end, to entities. After he died, the ghost was given the task to protect the land from the backrooms, it isn’t considered an entity, as it says it will send anyone who calls it that to a gruesome fate, by “Real” entities. It now protects, the city from the Back rooms. It is unknown, even to the spirit itself, how long it has been protecting the city. But the spirit is happy to do this, as it saves tons of people, it's said itself. It has also said there has been a total of 250 people who have escaped this way, but this is up for debate. This spirit is only said to appear to travelers, and the townsfolk are completely oblivious to its existence. The spirit has only been recorded to do one bad thing, and that was possible murder a wanderer, who had refused to believe the people weren't entities, so right before he shot the people, the “Spirit” possessed him, and made him walk into a no-clip zone outside of town, into the backrooms.

[Recorded Encounter]
[Most of this knowledge is known, from an unnamed M.E.G, member, who accidentally read aloud the saying required to enter, it was written on a brick wall in level 1054, around 3,000 km into the level. He was then teleported outside a home into snow. After a few minutes the father of residents of the home came out to see who the man was. His first reaction was to pull his Glock 33 from his holder, after the man backed off, scared, then the unnamed M.E.G explorer ran off. He came to the river, where he stopped and rested. To calm his nerves he drank a bottle of Almond water, but it did nothing. He then felt a comforting presence, and he then heard a voice, saying “It’s ok you’re safe now. You’re in the real world again.” Thinking there was someone behind him, he asked, “How do you know this?”, then responded, “I was lost in the back rooms, just like you, I died, painfully, all the while wishing there was an easy way out of the back rooms. As my spirit ascended, I was given a task, to watch over this town, and protect it from the evil of the back rooms. I also made this town an exit from the back rooms.”, he then turned around to see nothing, with a sigh he knew what he had to do, he asked the spirit, “I know this might seem like a strange request, but is it possible to send me back to the Back rooms, so I can guide people to this place , and inform others of it.” the man asked, then the spirit answered, “This is fine, but you will not be alone, I will guide you, and help you survive.” Then feeling a tug, he turned, sat on a rock, and was taken to the Back rooms. He woke up, in the main M.E.G base, where he told people of his experience. After he finished, he asked for people who would like to go back to the front rooms to follow him. He had a group of 15 people, when he heard the same voice, “Don’t trust him, he is not human.”, he then felt a strong tug in the direction of one of the men, but he was unable to identify who it was, so he asked them to line up, he walked around the front of the line, until the tug stopped, in front of the 13 person, the feeling stopped, and was replaced a feeling of intense completely immersing fear. He turned to him, flipped his gun out of its holder, too fast to have a counter reaction, and blew his head off, revealing clear blood. “Skin stealer.” He mumbles, and walks off, “Are you coming?” He said without turning back. The people scurried behind him. Of the group of 14, all survived to make it to the outside world.The man returned to the main outpost. He now keeps track of the date, and leads adventures to level ∞².
