Description

An image taken by an M.E.G. operative in Level ⫸

Level ⫸ is a beautiful landscape of wildly saturated, almost alien colors. This unfamiliarity causes wanderers to feel nauseous and have mild hallucinations. This landscape is entirely flat, with a few, but large agricultural spots growing massive amounts of crops every day. While the landscape is beautiful, and nearly featureless (aside from the small grasses and farms), it is also very unstable, with frequent clips in the ground causing wanderers to get stuck. Sometimes, these clips can send wanderers to different sub-levels. Only two have been given names, since they are most frequently visited during accidental no-clips.

Level ⫸1

One of only two sub-levels named, Level ⫸1 is a cave system with many crystalline structures made mostly from graphite, but can also be made from other minerals such as quartz and occasionally uranium. It is highly advised not to bring flames into these caves, since graphite is very common and is highly flammable. Like it's parent level, Level ⫸1 is highly unstable and clips are frequent, but caves can clip into each other, creating an inescapable barrier. A wanderer may no-clip into the only other sub-level that has been named, but they may also enter undocumented sub-levels.

Level ⫸2

This sub-level is an entirely flat plane with a sky of white void, and a black, featureless, flat ground that stretches on for infinity. This sub-level is very hard to escape from, since it is unusually stable, unlike Level ⫸1. This is the most dangerous sub-level, because if a wanderer spends enough time in this level, they will automatically be chased by The Forsaken.

Entities

Common Entities

Facelings

Facelings in this level are normally farmers that harvest crops within the large spots of agriculture that are few and far between. Though there are rogue, parentless child facelings that try to steal crops from farmers. Some of these thieves have been caught and have been punished, but it is unknown what methods are used.

Level-Exclusive Entities

The Forsaken

This entity is only found in Level ⫸2 and can only be encountered if a wanderer stays there for more than 2 minutes. it is known by it's disproportionately-sized mouth and arms, and while it sprints, it makes a guttural cry. However, it is unknown why it does this. It is also unknown what happens after getting caught by this creature, but researchers theorize it is a grim fate.

Colonies and Outposts

The Farmers

A large district of agricultural spots in Level ⫸ that farm and defend their crops from intruders.

M.E.G. Minor Outpost Zeta

An M.E.G. outpost comprising of merely two people that were sent to explore the level.

Entrances and Exits

Entrances

To enter, a wanderer must find a moist glass door, if it's broken in any way, it is safe to enter. However, if it's already broken, then it is not safe, for it is a trap.

Exits

If one finds a pool of dilute acid, they must leap in to travel to Level 7.

If one finds a patch of strangely colored moss in Level ⫸1, they will be teleported to Level 62

If a wanderer gets clipped out of reality and into the void during a fluctuation, they will be teleported to Level [REDACTED].
