Description:
This is a level that can help you understand a little about of some entities. Level マスク is a Japanese culture store that mainly includes masks and historical objects of samurai dating from feudal Japan in the 12th century. It's very common to hear voices of what appear to be other walkers talking inside the store, but when you enter, there's no one there, even though it sounded like there were people.
Store Places:
Altogether there are 4 rooms in the store, 3 are connected to a main corridor at the back of the counter. Each room has the same lighting, and the light is in a shade of red with its windows emitting orange lights.
The Counter
The counter is the main room of the store, composed of wooden boards, a cash register in Japanese and some masks on the walls, varying in red, black, white and sometimes gold. Masks can also range from ancient animal masks and even masks of Onis, Japanese demons. Grab as many masks as you need, as long as you pay for them, but beware, masks with red paint galore and masks with a “!” can take both outside the store and to different levels, especially the Level Pain and Level !. Still, at the counter, you can find a Faceling with attendant clothes, he won't attack, he'll just ask you what you want to buy, if the answer is no, he'll just come back to the counter, if the answer is yes and what you want in the store, he will try to help you, but if it is not possible, the answer will be "This resource is missing, we are sorry for the unforeseen".
The Stock
The stock contains some of the same features as the counter, plus many 2-meter-high shelves positioned in vertical rows, with 3-meter spacing in some shelf positions for easy passage. In this part of the store there is no light and it gets extremely dark if the walker doesn't have a flashlight, which can be found on the shelves. Here can be found: Flashlights , Crowbars, Almond Water (Chocolate Bliss) and Steel Katanas, but its extremely rare.
The stock also contains tool and service cabinets, there, crowbars and flashlights appear more easily. But be careful, some lockers can be Smiler traps, they can contain 5 to 9 Smilers and Smiler eggs. So be careful what you then open in the stock.
If the walker remains in the stock for more than 2 hours, the victim will begin to hear voices of family members and close people coming from behind the walls which grow louder with each passing hour, which can cause severe head damage and extreme loss of sanity. Some walkers report that the effect causes more damage, but nothing has yet been confirmed.
The Attic
The Attic is one of the most mysterious places on this level. Based on the reports of wanderers to MEG, there is only a black mask on an ordinary glass window and a kind of black totem that holds this window in the middle of the attic, there is a lamp of phosphorescent light that illuminates the totem where the mask is. There is no exact data on what the mask itself can do, it is known that if the walker tries to remove the mask from the visor, he will experience chest pain that can be fatal. However, this pain turns out to be random. It can be fatal or just a little pain in the chest. It may vary from walker to walker.
Based on reports, a thick male voice can be heard coming from the dark corners of the place. This is the only voice in the level that does no damage to walkers, but can scare them as it starts randomly in the attic. Wanderers who have heard such a voice claim that it always repeats the same words: 3人の王、3人のマスター、3人の魂 (Three Kings, Three Masters, Three Souls), ここに来る人はいつも質問をすま( Whoever comes here always asks questions). As there is nothing in this location, wanderers usually just go down to the main hallway and re-explore the level.
The Origin Room
The only location on the level that is locked, hikers who eventually found this location always claimed to need a key to enter it. Its appearance varies from wanderer to wanderer. The most common for the key to appear is behind any of the masks present on the walls near the counter or inside the cash register, but in order for it to be opened, a password is required. Each number that makes up the password is written on any wall, floor or ceiling of the place, papers can also contain some numbers, but it is rare.
Inside the room, there is a tv, a bed, a bathroom attached to the room, sofas and refrigerators next to the sofa. In the middle of the room, there is a kind of ritual with black and white colors, with scriptures in Japanese and some scrolls representing masks and some scriptures. In the middle of the ritual, the same black mask that is in the attic is present. It still causes the same effects that it causes in the attic. The bedroom TV can be normally used, but be careful, any TV channel that has masks or that are in japanese, can cause headaches, and are irreversible. There are cases of brain shock, but they are very rare.
Here can be found: Almond Cheese, Almond Water Chocolate Bliss, Liquid Pain (In refrigerators) and a variety of foods and fast foods that can be consumed normally.
How to start the Ritual:
