Level( is notably one of the most dangerous levels in the Backrooms.
A photo of the crimson suburbs.
Description:
Level (, or "Crimson Suburbs", is somewhat similar to level 6, "Lights Out", except the pitch blackness is replaced with crimson fog. Wreaking blood stains the colorless buildings, and sometimes there will be 'sandstorms' of solidified Liquid Pain. The dangerous part of this is that touch to the sand could instantly cause the seventh effect of Liquid Pain. It isn't advised to stay in any of the houses in the suburb unless you are armed, or you have confirmed it is safe to stay in. Most people who've made refuge here are welcome to travelers, but will put you through a thorough test before letting you stay.
Another important thing to go on about would be what it's like to stay here. Swarms of entities called the Neighborhood Watch by locals come out during the night, usually including 5-15 entities. The Neighborhood Watch is dangerous to the inhabitants of the suburbs, because if too many people congregate in one area, the watch can smell them. The reason these refugees choose to inhabit the suburbs is because of the supplies. Every day, all food is replaced and if you're lucky, you can find supply drops around the suburbs. These supply drops can hold food, armor, and weaponry. The bad thing about these supply drops: they despawn at night. And, since day is only about 6 minutes, night being 16 minutes, you'd have to be quick around the suburbs. If you're planning to survive the night, you'd better defend your home. Barricade the doors, and be extremely quiet, unless you're up for a challenge or two.
Entities:
Speaking of hordes, let's talk about what they're made of. Most Neighborhood Watch hordes consist of Smilers, Skin Stealers, Facelings, and the level specific, Guards.
Guards are very dangerous entities, which only come out at night with the horde, but friendly variants can be found during the day, which you can chat with.
