The Wanderer’s Dunes
¨Lev and I have been wandering these dunes for weeks now and are now low on almond water as well as food after running from the Monsters that live here, I hope the others are alright¨- Unknown wanderer's last message to a lesser known group of settlers.
Description
A wasteland of a level is all I can tell you, Ruins as far as the eye can see, Corpses here and there scattered through the ruins like rag dolls after a tantrum except more gruesome worst thing is most of them are...fresh, rusted weapons left behind by the missing wanderers and explorers that fell victim to a wandering sulk, and the sound of nothing but your breathing and you footsteps as you walk through the sandy dunes.. and not to forget the wind whistling in your ears, No wonder why they call it ¨The Wanderer´s Dunes¨,It is just you out here it seems until you get to the center at least then you will begin to notice you are not quite alone there.
Entities and creatures?
Wandering sulks:
- A hive mind of the missing wanderers and wounded taken over by a beetle like insect with the additions of a stinger, six more legs, and being a bit larger than their Frontroom’s counterparts and somehow has sentience.
- Hosts are hostile on sight, I advise you to stay hidden and if you move, use a dragon from Level 1275 or another fast moving mount to move, just might save your life.
- Only passive To The Watchers and The Meadow Caravan group.
- They have a weakness but it requires that you kill that host, who is in this case.. still alive but they cannot control their bodily functions, thanks a lot to those cacti suckers..
Entities:98970
- A group of tall slender entities with four arms that use the skins of The Hive mind Hosts to mend and create their cloaks and goggles.
- Found often inspecting the bones of the dead or wandering aimlessly upon the dunes.
- One of the friendliest entities in the level, they will trade only if you give them The Snake talisman from the ruins of The Dealer’s trading wagon in the eastern ruins.
- They will offer to give you a ride on their reptile like mount that resembles a dragon but more mechanical. Most are found near the ruins of the once great city of Zhipledo if I recall, it was a city that belonged to an now long extinct species of what they called, ¨The Masks that walked¨.
The Watchers
- The seemingly blind or eyeless creatures that The hive minds worship.
- They are not friendly, mostly hostile but not on sight at least.
- They seem to also possess mechanical limbs or organs from what I can find from books and carvings from the western ruins of the guardian temples.
- They used to claim they created the level or ¨World¨ that they inhabit.
- They’re only known due to the fact Smile has told me that they existed on the level long before he glitched. he and his group settled there before retreating into a different level after a 'Reset'.
- Self-proclaimed Gods you could say.
Colonies and Outposts
The Wandering Masks Colony(T.W.M.C)
- at least 29 members known to date
- One of the more friendly groups.
- Will trade with you or your group for weapons and food.
- Ask them for a Lift to any ruin and they will take you there with the cost of two bits, the currency here is quite strange.
The Worshipers
- Contains at least 14 members
- Violent and seem to always want blood lusted battles between other groups or colonies and themselves.
- Will not trade.
- What the group’s main motive is is still unknown.
The Meadow caravan
- current number of members is 17 but ever so slowly rising
- A nomadic tribe like group
- They will trade their mounts for some form of weapons
- Willing to let more members in to increase their number again ever since,¨The Divide.¨ or said Reset from earlier.
Entrances and Exits
Entrances:
- Asking Glitch to take you there.
- No clipping through a wall in Level 14
- Asking a rogue Watcher to take you there on any level. (they will most likely kill you though due to the..their 'issues' but there is still a chance they'll take you here)
- Finding A Wasteland in Level -13
Exits:
- The Northern, Southern, Western, and Eastern Gateways will take you to The Hub.
- Dying here will take you to the last level you were on before coming here.

Note No_6:
The level Seems to have an effect on the mind of any outer level entity of hostile origin,Making said entity docile even when a wanderer attacks them and or slow to anger to wanderers attack them and the opposite for normally slow to anger and docile entities that inhabit the outer levels.
The affected entities include: Partygoers, Skin Stealers, Death moths, or any other hostile entities that may follow you to this level, but this effect does not affect any tamed or neutral entities.
This is all that I can find for now,I will update in a later time.
To whom ever finds this level,May The Masks guide you towards a better path..
from yet another wanderer stuck in this mess of worlds called “The Backrooms”.
