Description

Level 0 L is normally the first level a wanderer may encounter when they enter the leftrooms. Usually, they won’t quickly notice the fact that they have already entered Level 0 L, as it looks almost identical to Level 0—however this only lasts until they touch the "strings" in Level 0L . Once they have touched the strings, Level 0 L will reveal itself as it real form: while the ceiling and walls will still look the same as Level 0, the floor will be replaced by tiles marked with the numbers 0-8.

Level 0 L is scattered with "strings" that are difficult to see with the naked eye, mainly around corners and sometimes appears directly in the middle of the road. So far, we classify them as an entity because they have these characteristics: firstly, they always vibrate slightly, emitting a harp-like sound that is so faint that it can only be heard by wanderers less than 10 centimeters away. Secondly, any attempt to destroy them will cause them to become angry. At this point, all strings within a 3 meter radius of the wanderer will vibrate violently, making a terrible noise, and then they will change their structure, surrounding the wanderer in order from long to short, while the “invisible audio" will appear. Finally, if you come into physical contact with them, you are likely to be cut, as they are very sharp. The exception to this is your fingers, which will not be injured when you play them, no matter how hard you use them, as long as you have no intention of damaging them, and even any pre-existing cuts on your fingers will be removed.

In addition, the tiles all over the floor of Level 0 L, also known as 'piano bricks', are another major component of Level 0 L. These are all white tiles in 25cm ✖️25cm size with numbers marked on them with grease pen. When you step on them, they make a piano-like sound depending on how you step on them and the numbers marked on them: 0 is unvoiced, 1-8 are (alto) do, re, mi, fa, so, la, ti, (soprano) do and when you step on a tile at the same time, it will sound a semitone lower.Usually, all the numbers are randomly distributed, but the "0" piano tile appears significantly less often than the other tiles. If you have placed something on a tile, it is best to pick it up quickly, otherwise in a minute that tile (or tiles) will drop and a new one will appear to replenish it, and you will never get your stuff back. There is a theory that the numbers on the piano bricks in Level 0 L correspond in some subtle way to the number of music boxes played in Musical Void, but this is not very plausible, as the numbers on the piano tiles never change while they are in your eyesight.

When you're not playing a song, if you step out of tune with too many dissonant chords, or being surrounded by angry strings, the "invisible audio" will appear. As its name implies, you can only hear its foot (if it has one) on the piano tiles, but you can't observe it no matter what device you use. The “invisible audio " is usually hostile to you, and when caught by him you are said to be transformed into another invisible audio, however we don't have any information on the victim, so this is not confirmed. There are two things you can do in this situation:

  1. It steps on each piano brick at 3 second intervals and before he gets too close to you step on a note that forms a harmonious chord with the note he is stepping on (e.g. a major third or in line with him (a major degree)) and keep doing this until you can hear no other piano voice but yours.
  2. If you are surrounded by angry strings at this point, try to soothe the strings around you. Even though you are surrounded by them, remember that your fingers will not be hurt no matter how you play them. Find the seventh chord hidden in these strings and play it so that they will disperse and the invisible audio will leave.

This level has similarities to Level 0, however you will not find anything like the Malina Room in it, but also, you may encounter other wanderers (although this is rare).

Although it is common to get noclip in or out and hit air walls in the left/right room, you will not encounter any air walls on this floor, and any attempt to noclip out of this level will trap you completely in strings and immobilize you.

Entities

In this level, only strings and invisible audio exist.

Resources

Unlike Level 0, the ceiling and walls here are very dry, so it is impossible to gather anything from them. There are times when the tiles marked with a "0" have a small bottle of almond water and a power bar on them, and there is a very small chance that royal rations will appear on the "0" tiles after you have managed to appease the strings or the invisible audio.

Colonies And Outposts

Due to the special nature of this floor (things cannot be left down for long), it is difficult to set up a colony or outpost here.

Entrances and Exits

Entrances

in Level 0, go to East straightly until you find a glitched hallway, walking into it will take you to Level 0 L.

Exits

Playing any piece of classical music with a piano brick will have a 1% chance of taking you to the Sound Void when it is finished.

On rare occasions, a piano brick marked with a "9" will appear and step "[[1]]" will take you to Level 114514 or Level 1919810.

Keep going until you see a bunch of strange balloons, walking past them will take you to Level 1 L.

Go back to the way that you came in will not lead you to Level 0, but Level 0 R.
