Level 1023 is the 1024th level of the Backrooms.
Description
A house of a survivor
This level resembles the home and/or place where you grew up, but it's infinitely repeating. You can venture away from this area, but it will repeat every 10-10.5 miles. Things like your favorite foods, drinks, and your childhood toys will be found here and can be taken with no consequences. The time here will always be around 4:00 AM and the temperature will be around 15 degrees in either Fahrenheit or Celsius.
Only one person can be within this level at a time. Any more entering this place at once (which is extremely rare, some would say impossible) both will be brought to Level ???!!! If you cannot remember where you lived during your youth, you will be transported instantly to Level ! or The Void, Some key properties are that:
- Every half an hour you will be brought to a random memory that you like the most.
- Every half an hour the temperature will either rise or fall by 10 degrees.
- Every half an hour you will be told to do something, whatever you do, DO NOT LISTEN. Doing so will make your entire body go into paralysis as you're slowly eaten alive by maggots.
- The longer you stay, the more of "The People" will appear and food will take longer to appear.
The entity that are here consist of "The People".
"The People" are entities that will look almost exactly like your loved ones and will dress/look as old as they were before you entered the backrooms, although they are extremely hostile. They will not attack children under the ages of 15 and are extremely strong, but their speed will be of which they were fastest before you entered the backrooms. They will spawn at exactly half an hour within the level, and the temperature will rise extremely quickly after that, around 10 degrees per 30 minutes. Killing them will also kill said person out of the backrooms. They are tamable but this is ill-advised due to the extreme difficulty of this. If done, you can have them make an endless supply of your favorite things!

Due to the nature of this level, colonies cannot be established.

Entrances
- Jumping of the cliff into 1023 is a method. However this is not recommended since there isn't enough proof to confirm success.
- Attempting to kill yourself in Level ! will send you here.
- Find a door in Level 0.
- Saying "OMG Fortnite is better than Minecraft!!" in Level 0 will send you here.
Exits
- All you must do is survive a week here to leave, you will be teleported anywhere in the backrooms (39.5% chance) and/or being sent to Level ! (0.5% chance) or The Frontrooms, which is the most common to happen (60% chance).
