Description
Level 103 consists of an expansive plane lit by unknown sources. The floor is made of an unknown solid blue surface that is smooth and indestructible. There are solid blue walls creating a roofless box 30km in width that seem to stretch infinitely high. These walls are made of the same substance as the floor and are just as indestructible. Despite there being no light coming from the sky, the entire level is evenly lit by invisible sources that cannot be interacted with. this lighting reaches 200m into the sky before cutting off quite abruptly. There is no ceiling visible in this level however, some believe there is one high above where the light cuts off.
This level is known as the Trade Center due to its unique property, theorised to be caused by a massive entity living in the sky of the level. When people attempt to trade in this level, making an exchange where one party believes the trade is unfair will cause the items being traded to catch fire and desegregate, no matter what the items are made out of, or their size. The flame is purple, and does not feel hot to the touch. Furthermore, if someone tries to steal from someone else, one of their fingers (the first one to touch what they are stealing, or a random one if they didn't touch the stolen object with any fingers) will catch on fire with the same purple flames, and eventually desegregate, causing immense pain. If all of someones fingers have been lost, they will lose a hand, then a forearm, then an upper arm, and finally, stealing with no arms will lead to their entire body combusting into flames, resulting in death and leaving their legs behind. Due to these strange properties, Level 103 has become an extremely popular place for trading.
Colonies and Outposts
This level is such a popular trade area that new colonies and outposts are constantly being created and disbanded, but some of the more stable and large colonies and outposts, as well as some otherwise notable ones include:
Base Grantreau of the Backroom Colonists
- Group is set up specifically to trade
- Has 30-40 members stationed at any given time
- Has plenty of Almond Water and will happily trade it for many items for common use
- Not interested in trading for rare items
- Gathers supplies to support other outposts on more hostile levels
Base 06: Amethyst of the Commercium Foundation
- Group set up specifically to trade
- Has 60-80 members stationed at any given time
- Produces their own products in other outposts and will trade them for anything they deem of similar value
- Have been seen attempting to shine extremely bright lights into the sky of Level 103
Scalars of 103 (Dissolved)
- At one point had 30 members
- One of the only outposts in Level 103 that was not interested in trading
- Obsessed with climbing the walls surrounding the level
- Used suction to stick to walls since damaging the walls in any was is impossible
- Dissolved after a party of 20 climbed above the light only for their legs to fall back down in a similar manner to someone who steals without arms
Faceless Traders
- An outpost containing an unknown number of adult Facelings
- Trade strange items for flavored Almond Water
- Will trade valuable items for distilled water, reasons unknown
- The items the Faceless Traders trade come from an unknown origin, as none of the Facelings in the group ever leave Level 103 or trade for anything other than Almond Water or distilled water
Entities
The only confirmed entities in Level 103 are the adult Facelings that make up the Faceless Traders. These Facelings are friendly and love to trade. They have a strange obsession with distilled water and there are rumors that these Facelings have been seen pouring said distilled water over their faces. There is another entity rumored to exist in Level 103 however, it is not confirmed. This entity is rumored to be a massive creature living in the sky of the level, possibly clinging to a ceiling that is above where the light can reach, or making up the ceiling itself. There have been supposed sightings of massive pincers like that of a crab being glimpsed in the light of the level, and on rare occasions, clicking sounds that may be the snapping of said pincers. Many believe this entity is responsible for the purple flames that are a signature to this level. This is supported by the fact that when the Scalars of 103 climbed past the light, they were set on fire. Due to its supposed appearance, and its monitoring of trading on the level, people tend to refer to it as the Crab of Trust.
Entrances and Exits
Entrances
- In any level with a class of 1 or lower, splashing Almond Water on a surface and then Noclipping through it will transport you to Level 103. This method also negates any other transportations that may occur via Noclipping through the surface normally, removing the risk of Noclipping into any dangerous levels, and even The Void. Note that any surfaces drenched in Almond Water beforehand will not transport you to Level 103.
Exits
- In order to exit Level 103, you have to head to one of the walls surrounding the level and splash Almond Water on it, similarly to entrance. Noclipping through the wall will transport you to either Level 0, or Level 5.
- Splashing Super Almond Water onto a wall instead will transport you to Level -21.
- Noclipping through a wall in Level 103 without splashing Almond Water on it has a 100% chance to send you to The Void.
