Description

Level 1049 resembles a moderately sized dated house. The inside appears to have looked like it was built in the 1980's or 90's. The walls inside of the level can either appear to be made of wood, or wallpaper eerily similar to the wallpaper seen in Level 0. The floor can appear to be white tiles, or dark blue carpet. The appearance of the walls and floor differ between each room. Level 1049 has two bathrooms (one upstairs, and one downstairs), two bedrooms, one kitchen, and a basement. The atmosphere in Level 1049 has been described as "other-worldly", but also comfy and homey.

Entities

Level 1049 does not have any entities, except a single entity that is exclusive to this level. The entity referred to as "Grandma" is a humanoid entity that resembles an elderly woman, seemingly around the age 75-80. When being introduced to this entity, it seems friendly and will greet a wanderer once they enter the level. It will usually greet the wanderer with a hug and will ask them to come to the kitchen area.

The entity will retrieve some form of desert, the desert served has been described as cookies of varying type, cake, wafers, and muffins. The entity will then usually sit down with the wanderer and engage in normal conversation. This will continue until the wanderer has finished their meal. The entity will then tell the wanderer to take a look around the level for a while. While the wanderer does this, The entity will enter its feeding stage. The entity goes through a transformation where its pupil color will change to a milky blue color, it's teeth will elongate and sharpen, and its body will get bigger and more deformed, such as one arm being longer than the other. The entity's fingernails will grow larger as well, ending in sharp black points.

It is here where the entity will begin playing a "hide and seek" sort of game with the wanderer, where the wanderer will naturally attempt to find the exit of the level while the entity hunts them down. The entity can manipulate the structure of the level simply by placing its hand on the area it wants to manipulate. The entity will do this to create traps, or confuse the wanderer. If the wanderer is caught by the entity, she will begin consuming the wanderer alive. Sometimes, she will kill the wanderer first by devouring the wanderer's head. If the wanderer escapes, the exit door will simply fold into itself and disappear.

There are no colonies or outposts on this level.

Do's and Don'ts

Do's:

  1. It is recomended to cooperate with the entity to avoid any early danger.
  2. When being hunted, try to leave as quickly as possible. The exit door can be easily spotted by its appearance, which is a rusted metal door.
  3. Keep calm, as the entity moves slowly.

Don'ts:

  1. Do not open or close doors to loud, this will alert the entity to your exact location.
  2. Approach the entity when it is in its feeding state.
  3. Do not hide in one room for too long, the entity is always moving.

Entrances and Exits

Entrances:

  • You can enter this level by going into an old looking house in Level 11 and Level 1048.
  • There is a rare chance you can enter this level by breaking through a wall in Level 0.
  • At times, an old looking oak door can be found in Level 7, this will lead here.
  • There is a rare chance you can come here in Level 682 by entering a window to any building.

Exits

  • This level can only be exited through the main exit door, clipping or breaking down walls will not work. Exiting this level will lead to Level 1050.
