Description

Level 1052 appears to be split into two areas: The Café and Orange Architecture. The Café is the smallest section, comprising of a singular room similar to that of a café. Behind the counter, a Child Faceling hides waiting to ambush you. Scratching sounds can be heard coming from above the room, as if something was trying to break through, but there was no evidence from The Smiling's documented exploration of the level. It was stated that the explorers saw a group of people in the level, so it is possible that this level was explored previously. At the back of this area, there is a door. This door leads out into the Orange Architecture, which is the much larger section, being of unknown length, and consisting of nothing but orange architecture. The leader of The Smiling, TotallyNotAMeme00 reports that there is the sound of buzzing lights in the distance, similar to that of Level 0, and that if you do not follow the lights, you may be in danger. It is unknown what is meant by this. A few other members of The Smiling report seeing dark shapes dart down dark hallways, and faint whispers among the sounds of buzzing lights. Discovered after the events of Log SMILING-0001, a new entity dubbed 'The Consuming' has been reported. It is a shadowy blob that will try to consume any lifeform it finds.

LOG SMILING-0001: EXPEDITION 1052

[LOG START]

TotallyNotAMeme00: Well, Gary, we're back in Level 1052 now, what do you suppose we should do?

Gary: I think we should just explore. Maybe investigate that weird colony you said you saw?

TotallyNotAMeme00: Good idea.

(A Child Faceling jumps out)

TotallyNotAMeme00: KILL IT!

(Gary lunges at the Faceling, knocking it out.)

Gary: Well, it's unconscious. Let's get out of here!

(They run through the door at the back of the café into the level's other section, Orange Architecture. After a few minutes of exploring, they hear something.)

Gary: Huh? What was that?

TotallyNotAMeme00: Most likely an entity.

(A person comes down the corridor.)

???: Smilers! Kill them!

(Bullets are fired.)

Gary: Who are you? Can you stop? I'm friendly, he's just a Hybrid!

(The person steps forward. They are wearing a hood and are masked.)

TotallyNotAMeme00: Hang on, you're part of that colony, aren't you?

???: How'd you know that?

TotallyNotAMeme00: Never mind that, who are you?

???: I don't know, I forgot who I was a long time ago.

Gary: C'mon, let's explore.

(Several minutes pass, then a black shadowy mass can be seen coming down the corridor.)

Gary: HIDE!

(The two of them try to hide. TotallyNotAMeme00 was successful, while Gary was consumed by the shadow.)

TotallyNotAMeme00: GARY!

(TotallyNotAMeme00 runs off down the corridor and finds stairs. He goes down the stairs, panicking, when he finds glass double doors. He goes through the doors and enters Level 11, outside a café with a sign out front saying 'Orange Delights.' Several Smilers are there, waiting for him.)

Smiler: Hi, chief. Where's Gary?

TotallyNotAMeme00: I think he's... dead. Sorry about that.

Smiler: No! What happened?

TotallyNotAMeme00: There was this weird shadow thing, and it literally consumed him!

Smiler: Strange. We need to be careful upon further explorations.
