Description[]
A previous location reclassified as a sublevel, Tabù Cistern (Level 107.1) is a finite complex of frigid cisterns and numerous rooms serving different purposes. Located directly below Level 107. The cisterns of the sublevel are composed of multiple parallel columns embedded into a concrete foundation that forms the pillars, walls, and ceilings; light always casts from the west, the source of which is unknown, as it remains ever unchanging. The water, frigid, occasionally releases chilling agents that form thin sheets of ice on the surface regardless of temperature. Personal belongings, such as fur and clothing, can be seen drifting aimlessly throughout the cisterns, and they seem to lack any identifiable owner.
Occasionally, rooms with faucets may be within the Tabù Cistern's confines. These faucets control the water flow of the level—examples include controlling the direction of the water to the left or right. They also reveal blocked-off areas when turned to a certain angle, with revealed areas containing pathways to other areas of the level or supplies. As such, it is mandatory to use them for deeper exploration.
Plant and aquatic life are abundant within the sublevel, specifically in the walkways. Plants range from flowers to edible plants, fruits, and the like. Fish inhabit the cisterns, predominantly consisting of Cascadan Mawfish, with some species originating from the Southeast Asian region of The Frontrooms. The Tabù Cistern's difference in plant and animal life depends on its temperature of 10°C during winter and 23°C in other seasons.
Outside of commercial and government activities, the sublevel has been a hotspot for religious practices in Cascada. Tabù, the mythical location created by the god Haeyato, which is responsible for Level 107's water supply and is said to be the exit to the Frontrooms, shares heavy similarities to the Tabù Cistern; thus, many altars contain decoration with Joteo and Cascadan imagery. Polished, rounded rocks can be found throughout the level, featuring inscriptions in Jinyi and Aurielleno. Flowers and other memorial objects surround these rocks. The flowers accompanying these "graves" are Pojins, related to tulips. Lanterns can be observable surrounding both locations, emitting a desaturated dark blue flame. The flame has a colder temperature compared to most fires and can't spread as well, but it lasts considerably longer.

Sidewalks[]
Sidewalks, or walkways, are another notable sector of Tabù Cistern's architecture outside of its cistern. They are mainly bridges that cross over an open, shallow body of water filled with water-based plant life and fish. Other common appearances of sidewalks are observation areas, like structures held by pillars overlooking an accessible empty body of water.
The bridges may also lead to a platform; the platforms in question may also have a pond in the center that contains fish.
Cleansing Chambers[]
The most used of the sublevel's sectors, it is located near the center. The cleansing chambers are a set of intertwining pools with a central fountain at the complex. The appearance of the chambers differs from the rest of the levels, as their surfaces and appearance bear a resemblance to Level 37.
Colonies and Outposts[]
The Duchy of Cascada is the sole governing power within Level 107.1.

- Going back from the stairs will lead one back to where they entered from Level 107.
