Lever 1170.1 is a sub-level to level 1170 is presumably the 1170.1st level of the Backrooms.

Description

Level 1170.1, taken from an anonymous source.

Level 1170.1 appears to be a damp cave with small water puddles on the floor. It is extremely dark, and has tight walls. It is recommended to being a light source when going to this level. There can sometimes be small lakes in this cave, caused by drips from the celling. All of the 'water' in this level is the same as in 1170, meaning it cannot be drank. The walls of this level are very brittle, and when broken will release a toxic chemical into the air that kills any lifeform almost instantly. However, risk of this chemical and the entrance being from level 1170, a mostly entity-free level, does make it so entities don't appear here. This cave is also unusually cold, ranging from -12° to -30° Celsius. Some parts of the level are entirely submerged in water, and unlike the water in 1170, you will quickly drown. There are also multiple cracks in the walls, and it is best to avoid areas where cracks are more frequent to avoid inhaling the toxic chemicals in this level. Almond water is very scarce in this level, and it is usually half-empty when found. When travelling to lower levels of the cave, the water will be replaced with liquid pain, and the cracks will be much more frequent. However, in terms of almond water, the lower floors are more rewarding, though its not recommended to go down here unless you have proper protection.

Colonies and Outposts

Due to the nature of this level, colonies and outposts are unable to be established.
