Description
Level 11 consists of a massive city of indeterminate size. Buildings of various heights and sizes populate the level, interconnected by numerous roads and highway systems.
All structures in Level 11 are essentially empty, only having occasional pieces of furniture or light fixtures. Common food sources in the Backrooms like Almond Water are present in Level 11. Thus far, no entities have been discovered in Level 11, leaving the only imminent risk to survival the degradation of one's sanity as a result of the isolation.
On occasion, events can happen here. The first is an alteration of wanderer´s memories to where they forget where they came from and feel a strong desire to stay in the level, happening randomly at a rare chance. The second, if a wanderer is alone in a building, the level will appear to quickly plunge into nightfall through the windows, though this is not the case. After this, the wanderer will hear footsteps. What happens next is unknown, as every wanderer who has made it out of the level alive and experienced the event says that they left through the door as soon as they heard footsteps.
There was once a community build called "The Eye of God" by the Church of Tiana. The team used a star and many pieces of concrete to build it. However, the star was a red supergiant, and it took too much power, causing it to explode in a supernova. After the supernova, the ozone layer was decimated by the blast. The sunlight is blinding and lethal, throwing every shadow into sharp relief and forcing day travel to follow the cover of the standing ruins. Skyscrapers have been either decimated completely or reduced to a remnant of their ground floor by debris. Concrete basements can be inhabited by wanderers seeking shelter in this wasteland.
Now, Level 11 is being rebuilt somewhere that is not affected by the deadzone(the affected zones). About 25-40% of the level is rebuilt now. There is now a border which covers the deadzone. The ozone layer also returned, making more people start the rebuild.
