You wake up on the hot concrete, groggy and dizzy. Unaware of where you are, you curiously wander around the place, looking for another soul who could jog your memory back.

Unfortunately, you find nobody. Maybe they're all inside?

As loud as you can, you yell out, "Hello?"

Silence.

"Anyone there?"

More silence.

In fact, you hear nothing but your own echoes, unusual for a city landscape.

You want to go home…

But this is your new home.

Level 11 is the 12th level of the Backrooms.

Survival Difficulty: Class 0

Devoid of All Life

Description

Level 11 consists of a completely empty city massive city of indeterminate size. Buildings of various heights and sizes populate the level, interconnected by numerous roads and highway systems. In no recorded instances have two Wanderers ever made contact in this level; it is unknown whether this is an anomalous property that isolates those who enter, or if it is simply a result of the level's size.

Thus far, no entities have been discovered in Level 11, leaving the only imminent risk to survival the degradation of one's sanity, as a result of the isolation. According to several reports, Level 11 evokes strong feelings of nostalgia in those who enter it, specifically those who grew up in a city-like environment. It is theorized that the level may also have a minor reality-warping effect for those individuals that makes the level moreso resemble the city of their upbringing.

All structures in Level 11 are essentially empty, only having occasional pieces of furniture or light fixtures. Sources of food in the level, however, are scarce, making food necessary to pack before entering it. Common food sources in the Backrooms like Almond Water are not present in Level 11.

Have I seen this place before?

No; what happened? What the hell happened?

This place was different.

Was it just a dream?

No, the buildings. They're not the same ones from my city anymore.

There's nothing on the cars. Nothing in the buildings.

Are there any exits?

No; this isn't possible. This place has changed and the history has been purged.

Am I going to survive?

Am I stuck here?

Found a house, Inside there is a room that has boxes in it, There's a picture of grandpa, Unflushed toilets and a bubble bath with the color of red jelly, three Gi for martial arts below the stairs, Upstairs there were bars of soap and toothbrushes and toothpaste, A bunkbed in one room and toys everywhere, Those belonged to my siblings, My brother would always leave toilets unflushed, There's a TV with live octagon shit, Women punching eachother and men doing the same, Two tv's off, All Roku, There's an entire gaming setup in brother's room, A bed and two silver medals from father. A toyota minivan in the garage and unopened yogurt in the fridge outside, A freezer next to it with popsicles and frozen meat and porkchop and rice on the table with a black one that held a beige ricecooker. An instantpot in the kitchen and garlic from papa johns, Unfinished garlic bread with a knife floating on a wedge, A microwave that was microwaving instant noodles. Snacks and granolas on the shelf with coffee and stuff. Normal water, too.

Are you there?

Hello?

I want to go home.

placeholder, put this where you like
You can still hear the lights buzzing and smell the carpet as you wander down the street. It probably isn't safe for you to be walking out in the open, but you don't care about that at this point. These empty streets evoke a certain sense of nostalgia, that you can't quite place yet, but at the same time you feel unnerved. Maybe a rest will clear your head. There are plenty of buildings around, and this is the Backrooms after all. There's nobody to stop you from just breaking in and sleeping in a random bed. As you approach what seems to be an apartment complex, a strong feeling of recollection hits you, however you do not know why. Looking at a plastic plaque on the wall, you figure out why. The plaque reads, "Broad Street Apartments", followed by a list of room numbers. It's foolish, but for a moment you truly believe you have entered reality. You begin running up the stairs, childhood memories racing through your head. Finally, you come to a door with a brass number "6". You put your hand on the doorknob, and open it. "Mom? Devin?" There is no answer. As you enter, all of the lights are out. You flip on the switch, and the lights actually turn on. A pleasant surprise. In the dim lighting, you can see an unfinished dinner on the table, a small television in the corner, a kitchen, and three mattresses. You doubt there is anything in the bathroom. Your entire childhood flashes before your eyes. You need to get your mind off of this. You pull the blankets of the mattress over yourself, and begin to close your eyes.
