level 1394 is the 1395th level of the backrooms.

Description:

Level 1394, known as "The Gradual Breakdown of Reality" is split into 5 separate areas, shaped like roughly concentric rings radiating outwards from spawn. The further from spawn you go, the more dangerous each ring gets.

In general, The layout of the level is made out of a maze of hallways and rooms of varying size and shape. The colour varies little, being a dull grey for the vast majority of the level. Lighting is inconsistent, with windows being in some hallways, these may show varying outsides. Windows should be avoided at all costs.

The first area is known as the Safe Zone. This area stretches around 5 kilometres from spawn in every direction. There are no entities here and things are relatively safe. The hallways and rooms here are generally in a good state, with only minor signs of wear and tear. This area is, however, empty of all supplies. If you wish to stay for extended periods of time, you will have to venture outwards.

The next area is known as the Sunset zone, This area stretches from 5km to 15km away from spawn. This area is still relatively stable, but the hallways take on a more broken down appearance, appearing dirty and broken and decrepit. There are some scattered resources here, but they are few and far between, so it is not advised to look for resources here. Entities are also slightly more common here, appearing on occasion. They are not especially hostile but are nonetheless dangerous. It is advised to go in a group if you want to explore further than this area.

The third area is known as the twilight zone, it stretches from 15km to 50km away from the spawn. This is where the majority of wanderers go when trying to locate resources, as they are fairly common here. Unfortunately, this is where reality starts to break down, the hallways here become excessively broken down and decrepit, entities become far more common and the hallways and rooms start to glitch, these glitched areas are highly unstable and should be avoided. When passing through a glitched hallway, various things can happen to wanderers including [REDACTED] and [REDACTED]. This is not survivable if this happens to you. Take caution when entering this area.

The fourth area is the midnight zone, it stretches from 50km to 150km from spawn. Very few wanderers enter this zone, and even fewer leave. The endless maze of the first three sections turns out to not be quite so endless, as it stops here. All that’s left is a vast, empty plain of dull, grey, glitchy concrete. Piles of resources can be found if one were to go far enough in, but be warned, the entities here are far more common and more aggressive than anywhere else on the level. It is here that the laws of physics start to break down, hot things become cold, forwards and backwards seem the same, euclidean geometry stops working and gravity starts to vary seemingly at random. It is highly advised that you do your best to exit this area as soon as possible.

The fifth and final area is known as The Breakdown Zone. Unfortunately we have extremely limited information on this section of the level. This is because only five people have managed to even reach this section, and none came back alive. What is known is that upon entering this area, all of your senses stop working, time starts to vary drastically and all known laws of the universe stop applying. These include gravity, mass and geometry. Staying in this section for even a few seconds can very quickly drive someone to absolute insanity. If not tear their body apart entirely. There are no images available for this section or even a description as people’s sense of sight stops working. NEVER TRY TO GO HERE. Entering this zone is like stepping into a void of nothingness, and everything at the same time, you will not survive, nobody can.

Entities:

Various entities can be found in the first four sections of the level, including smilers, death moths, hounds, clumps, dullers, wretches, windows, skin stealers and bloodstalkers. The further from the centre of spawn you go, the more common entities get.
