Level 13 is an unrestricted level of the Backrooms.

Description
Level 13 appears to be an infinite jungle with a cabin serving as spawn location. The cabin itself is abandoned, overgrown and destroyed, lacking furniture. The windows seem to be broken, with their metal border being rusty. The cabin has 2 floors, with the first one having rooms resembling living room with destroyed couch and ripped carpet, kitchen because of pipes, and a boiler room due to traces left by boiling water and concrete walls and roof, which seem to be the only thing that barely survived destruction.
The stairs leading up to floor 2 are destroyed and very dangerous, with the wood falling apart, multiple undercuts in structure, holes and wet wood, which eventually broke up apart. After all, it can serve as a threat to not go to floor 2, since the floor here can fall at any moment. Anyways, floor 2 has 2 rooms: an empty room and a bedroom. It is unknown for what the empty room was used for. The door to the bedrooms is completely broken, with the need of "jumping" through it to enter bedroom. The bed is soaking wet, the pillow is moldy and the nightstand is devastated. It is also presumed that walking into the bedrooms would make the whole building collapse, so M.E.G. colony here decided to protect the entrance and not let anyone in.
Recreation of the living room; this image is inaccurate.
The cabin even from the outside looks untidy, abandoned and not easy to live in. However, it has the entrance to The Underground, which can help you in your journey. But moving onto the outside, the jungle, infinitely big jungle has no animals other than insects, wasps and so on. The insects are very aggressive, making up one of tens of reasons why it is not easy to live in this level. The fruits here are poisonous and spread Level-13 plague as well as insects do. The water in rivers and lakes will always boil, and the fatal climate in this level makes it really hard to live in.
Speaking about the climate, it is extremely hot here, so all M.E.G. agents in Mission-OH besides needing to wear protection armor, they also need to have a cooling system, since they would turn into a dinner if they wore armor in such temperatures. Also, the average temperature here is 50°C, and the sun can blind you after 4 seconds after looking at it (even 1 second can make your vision extremely blurry). If you are infected with Level-13 Plague, the heat can bring you even more problems. The only place without boiling water and the whole heat is the underground.
The Underground
The relatively safe place in this level is the underground; accessible trough downstairs in The cabin. It may look that they lead to basement, but in reality they lead to caves rich in water and plants, where you can safely rest and not worry about sunburn. This is where M.E.G. Mission-OH have stationed their outpost. Since the cave system is pretty big, some holes serve as the entrances and exits from these caves, but in deeper parts of the underground you cannot find exits so often. And, the cave system in not that big.
A photo of The Underground
This place can serve as a lifesaver for people infected with Level-13 Plague, since it causes symptoms only if the infected is in extreme heat.
Entities
Level-13 Plague
This plague is spreaded by insects and fruits on this level. Only Neon Water can cure it and Super Almond Water can undo the symptoms if you got them already. So, once infected, if you are in extreme heat you will be giving off more sweat, which takes out away atoms out of your body, slowly shrinking you. The symptoms will not be visible at first, but if you suspect that you are infected, you should better go to The Underground to avoid eventually getting smaller. Some people say that wasps created this disease to shrink and then eat people, but this was never confirmed and is just probably a street legend and a rumour.
Colonies and Outposts
Mission-OH
Consists of a 14 M.E.G. scientists, agents and explorers to give information about this place. Their base is stationed at The Underground, but they used to have one in the cabin. This mission really gave us information about this level with the cost of hundred bottles of almond water and self-cooling armory, since no people died here yet. Their started Almond-water stock is beginning to end, trough it did expire really slowly, because they were sent here on 14.03.2022. Trough, the information they delivered us in 1 month is really collosal. But there is one person that may cause your attention...
Open file: M.E.G. agent: The Tiny KateClose file: M.E.G. agent: The Tiny KateKate was an ordinary student, when she noclipped into the backrooms while being 13. She was close to death, when an unknown colony found her, fed her and gave her a safe place to sleep. Like most of young people in the backrooms, she feared to noclip in fear of ending up in The Void, but she eventually got to Level 9, 11 (alone!) and to 12. After Kate figured out how to get out of level 12, she have entered Level 13 when it was dangerous, aka it lacked information. Wanderers reported it as an infinite jungle with abandoned cabin serving as spawn location, but no one did know about Level-13 Disease at the time.
A drawing of the Tiny Kate, made by M.E.G. agent Elizabeth. The drawing represents her when she was found.
Kate was sadly probably the longest survivor being infected with the disease of this level, when an innocent mosquito bitten her. After 1 week, suffering from dehydration Tiny Kate saw a huge height loss, like she jumped from 5.5ft to 3. It made navigating in the jungle way much harder, but since she was shorter, plants partially protected her, which caused less sunburn and slower height loss. She knew about underground at the time, but didn't know the disease only works in warm.
As time passed, she got to the size to 1 inch, helpless and unable to go any shorter Kate decided to seek for help and slowly wait for death. While she was 16, a M.E.G. explorer Elizabeth found her and offered help, and they both decided to explore this level. When M.E.G. sent 12 men-group into Level 13 to seek for Elizabeth and explore this level, they promoted Kate to a M.E.G. Agent with Side Effects, she now serves at Major Explorer group and helps with things that normal-sized people cannot do.
History
Due to multiple explorations, teamwork with other colonies and advanced research we have discovered the theoretical history of this level, the reason why the cabin is destroyed and the creator of entrance to the underground. Many believe it due to the fact not many wanderers have stumbled upon this level and it is not easy to enter.
There is no confirmation to that, but after a year event called "The true overheat" have happened, turning this level into an oven, killing Max and destroying the cabin. After it, not much wanderers traveled trough this warm level, most of them died in Level 12.
Mission-OH have found the following note, the only one that was readable:Entrances and Exits
- Doing something in Level 12. Entrances to this level are still being searched.
Tiny Kate have told us that she saw a cellphone near a boiling lake coast, causing the speculation that you can exit by diving into the lake and doing something in it. An unproved way is also walking too deep into the caves, as one person was reported missing by Mission-OH, while being last seen walking deeper than any of M.E.G. agents did.
