One of the corners approached on Level 1465

Level 1465, also known as the "Cornerlands", is the 1466th level of the Backrooms. It is composed of several hall-like structures, of which the exact span is unknown. This level, however, is not simply a long hallway or collection of hallways; rather, it is greatly composed of corners. At no point in this level will one not be within eyesight of a corner, as not only is there a remarkable abundance of corners, but the unique and mysterious properties of the level cause corners to appear whenever one turns around. As an example, if one is currently facing a corner, and one turns around, they will then see another corner there. Following this corner may lead shortly to another, which may have another hall connecting to it. However, if one turns away from his hall, as soon as they look back, they may see yet another corner, completely different from what previous appeared to be there.

In this level, most walls are blue with the occasional white panel, and the floors are tiled, each tile. being red, yellow, or blue. Behind the panels on the wall will be electrical wiring and complex circuits, which have been confirmed to serve as the source and distributor of power in the level. Some attempts have been made to modify or cut these circuits, though none have been successful, as the arrangement of the wires within the circuits is incredibly different from that of a typical circuit.

Entities

There are somewhat few entities in the Cornerlands, though the level is known to be inhabited by Hounds. Hounds in this level are as dangerous as always, though can be avoided somewhat easily because of the quickly changing layout of the area. It is theorized, however, that this corner reflection applies not only to wanderers, but also entities, as entities with remarkably similar behaviors have been observed throughout this level, suggesting that in some cases, the same entity may appear more than once due to the strange properties of this level.

Due to the nature of this level, it is impossible to establish colonies or outposts.

Entrances and Exits

Entrances

The only known way to enter Level 1465 is through Level 1464. In Level 1464, one must attempt to explore the area, ignoring the tower, and after enough exploration, one may find a small blue door. Opening this door will lead one into Level 1465, and as soon as once turns around after facing away from the door, the Cornerlands will begin to function as they do, and the door will be gone.

Exits

There are several known ways to exit Level 1465, listed below:

  • If one finds pools of water on the ground, following them will lead to a door that leads to (TBD water level).
  • Occasionally, a corner will be pink, at which point one can utilize the corner to enter Level 1466.
  • If one cuts several wires behind a panel, the lights will shut off, and once they turn back on, said person will be on (TBD cool level).
  • If one explores far enough, they may find themselves in Level 77.
