Level 1472.1 is the first discovered sub-level of Level 1472.
Contents
Description
Level 1472.1 is an infinite maze of walls with a concrete ceiling, but without floor.
The Ball
When someone enters this sub-level, they will be put on a ball above a circular platform in a random location at least 2 miles away from places with floor. The ball is sturdy and can be rolled as if there were a floor. The thing is, they can't touch the 'floor', so they'll have to roll the ball while on top of the ball to move around as well as to avoid falling down into the Void. M.E.G. estimates that there are 20 casualties from falling off every week.
When the ball gets to a place with floor, it'll noclip through the floor instantly and appear at Level 1472 at spawn, leaving the person stuck there unless they noclip through the floor as well.
This level was considered Class DEADZONE before, but after the In-and-Outpost from Level 1472 made an exact copy of the ball, many people have gotten used to the balancing, downgrading the survival difficulty to Class 5, and it was soon demoted again to Class 5e.
Main Section
The main section has copper walls. Most copper walls have partially oxidized (some have fully oxidized) and are safe to touch. The ceiling, though, is not safe to touch at all. Touching it will cause that section of the ceiling to fall down. There ARE places with floor, but those are extremely rare. Noclipping through the walls will lead back to spawn to prevent anyone from cheesing the maze.
Unfortunately, that is all we have known about the main section.
Golden Zone
45 miles from every direction is the golden zone. Derived from the phrase 'Goldilocks Zone', it acts as a square ring surrounding the center. Most importantly, it has floor. The golden zone is made of golden walls, ceiling, and floor. The maze is also less claustrophobic and more open. Crates of food and Neon Water spawn in occasionally like in Level 1, making this area almost habitable. The shortest path to this zone is estimated to be 51 miles.
The golden zone lasts for 5 miles before returning to the main section for another 45 miles before returning back to the golden zone for 5 miles, and so on, making this an infinite loop. When one reenters the main section, the same ball will appear suddenly in front of them.
The people who made it to this area could not leave without going back to the dangerous zone, and so they stayed and decided to live here until they could figure out how to get out safely.
Torment Area
The tenth golden zone is replaced with the Torment Area. It looks perfectly like the main section, but with 10 times more entities. The ball becomes extremely slippery, and the ceiling can fall at any moment. It also constantly drips Liquid Pain.
Wi-Fi
It is assumed that there is Wi-Fi here called "1472floor". The password has been discovered by a scientist from M.E.G. after using a hack, and is "LWJDKRJDIFJODSOEJZA". Unfortunately, the closer it is to the golden zone, the weaker it is. It is unable to be connected in the golden zone, making communication in the golden zone near impossible. M.E.G. and the Back Navigators are building a safe path from the center to the golden zone for easier communication. They have built 6 miles, but two lives were unfortunately lost for the project. M.E.G. has warned travellers from Level 1472 not to enter this level until they finish the bridge.
Do's
- Stay on the ball at all costs
- Get to the golden zone or find a place with floor and noclip into it
- Hide from entities if possible
Don'ts
- Fall off the ball
- Look at any entities
- Go to the Torment Area
Entities
Most entities that reside here are Partygoers and Facelings. Occasionally, Hounds, Skin-Stealers and Lighters can be seen too. Do note that those entities can walk on the nonexistent floor. Other entities when entering this level will most likely disappear from falling off the ball. If an entity gets to the golden zone, it will fall through the real floor, until a Corrupt managed to enter the zone without falling through. This is why the golden zone is Class 1 instead of Class 0.
Items
Food and Neon Water can be found in crates. Weapons can be found in the second and fourth golden zone. There is also Golden Water, which has every effect from Almond Water, as well as teleportation powers for 10 seconds. (This is how one person got to the Torment Area.) Unfortunately, Almond Water doesn't exist in this level.
Colonies and Outposts
There is one colony in the first golden zone.
- 6 members
- Unwilling to trade due to scarce resources, but medical supplies can be borrowed
- Are the first people to enter the Golden Zone
- The main colony is in Level 1472, more information there
Entrances and Exits
Entrances
- Looking at a white door in Level 1472. Moonwalking to the white door works as well.
Exits
- Noclip into a real floor in the main section to return to Level 1472 on the ring.
- Falling off the ball will lead to the Void. Don't do this.
- Getting hit by a falling ceiling anywhere will lead to Level 1472, but NO ONE has survived the concussion.
- Noclipping into the ceiling will lead somewhere, but we don't know where yet.
- If you lose enough blood to die in the Torment Area, you'll be taken to a dark room with a button that kills you immediately upon pressing and a door to Level !. Noclipping through the button without pressing it will take you back to the spawn of this level.
