Description
Level 48 consists of tunnels. It is pitch black but can be lit up by light sources. As such lanterns are often left behind and turned on to guide explorers. It is possible the tunnels are infinite, but this cannot be confirmed due to how far explorers can travel in Level 48.
Certain areas of the tunnels are populated by hostile entities, so be cautious when travelling in Level 48. Graffiti on the walls of the level are not native, and are instead notes and warnings left behind by others travelling Level 48. It is important to listen to the graffiti, since they will often guide you into areas not populated by entities.
Unfortunately, due to some graffiti not always being reliable, it is always a good idea to listen before picking a direction to go in. If you play it smart you will survive and noclip into Level 49. Lanterns or other permanent, portable light sources left by wanderers can also be used as a guide, so you can use them to your advantage too. For every two set of paths presented to you is one path that leads to a hotspot of entities. Make sure to avoid these paths.

There are no known colonies or outposts on Level 16.

There is only one known entrance to Level 16.
- Travelling too far in Level 14 will eventually lead you to Level 16
Exits
There is only one known exit to Level 16.
- Making 10 correct choices (Avoiding areas where hostile entities are populated) will force you to noclip into the floor and fall into Level 17. (This makes it impossible to measure the size of Level 16.)
