Explanation
Level 177 is the 178th level of the backrooms. Level 178 resembles a large lake, containing at least 100 geese, and a small fountain. The surrounding portions of Level 177 consists of a large valleys with a dense amount of pine trees and bushes. The resemblance of this level is commonly thought to be a sort of Canadian lake.

The day/night cycle works correctly, as do in the Frontrooms, though, the seasons inside this level appears to always be autumn. The temperature in this level appears to usually be around 23° Celsius, though, it can reach to such as 19° Celsius, or 25° Celsius. The sky usually has a type of tint that looks as if there's a sunset.
After multiple tests on the lake, it was concluded that the lake is made up of 95.6% Almond Water, and 4.3% Water. The rest seems to be chemicals, like Carpet Fluid, so it's advised to only drink the water on special occasions, or if an emergency occurs.
Level 177 appears to have a current hazard, effecting such person after a total of 45 days. This effect is known as the Goose Effect.
Goose Effect
The Goose Effect occurs after such person spends more then 45 days inside Level 92. When this occurs, such person will exhibit behaviors of a goose, such as squawking, squealing, and swimming. After 10 days, the person will try to swim underwater, and will eventually circum to the drowning.
There is 0 treatment discovered as of now, and the only thing one can try to do is restrain such person from entering the water. For some reason, when the person exits, the goose effect goes away. Due to this, M.E.G. advises anyone with the effect to enter the exit, as to reset the 45 days.
Stages
Stage 1: Voices
During the effect, such person will start squawking and squealing, they may start to peck people as if they were actually goose. This effect occurs around 2 days after first contact with a goose, or 45 days inside Level 177.
Stage 2: Body
Such persons body starts to act like a goose, flapping their arms like a goose. Another thing noted is that all previous effects still occur, even after the next stage commences. This effect usually occurs 5 days after Stage 1. At this point, exiting will be ruled out.
Stage 3: Death
After 10 days of Stage 2 Effects, the person will walk into the water, and try to become a goose. All cases past this stage have been logged as a 100% Lethality Rate. If such person is out the level, the person will circum to their fate. All autopsies of victims who died have, strangely, been logged as blunt force trauma.
Exploration
Level 177 was first discovered and explored on July 5th, 1976, when a random lake started to fade into Level 140. When this occurred, the 7 member squad entered the level, and set up camp. Only 5 of them still live, the other 2 circumed to their fate due to the goose effect.
When the effect were first documented, the effect was blamed on the level or lake, though, after further exploration and studies, have been blamed on the goose, now referred as Entity 177. For some odd reason, the geese have started to attack anyone who gets near the lake, and, if attacked, such person will start to be effected by the Goose Effect.

Level 177 contains one type of entity, though, they rarely kill people, only being the cognitohazard.
