level 179 is the 180th level of the Backrooms.

Descriptions and Level's property

Level 179 appears to be a modern monorail station with inverted environments. Level 179 has 2 floors in total, and wanderers will always appear at the 2nd floor after entered in this level.

The 2nd floor

The 2nd floor is where all the wanderers noclipped into this level. This area contains vending machines, abandoned commercial zone, railway station area, and toilets. A lot of advertisement board and posters also can be found around the hallways, they seem to be the advertisement which exist in the Frontrooms during 1960's era. The toilets in level 179 usually have almond waters appear on the sink. The commercial zone is full of abandoned stalls and stores, wanderers can find for supplies in this area. Royal ration can be found in the stores around commercial zone but rarely. The railway station area is devoid of physic laws, such as some vending machines in this area are floating above the floor, snacks package inside the vending machine sometimes noclipped out of display case. the toilets in this zone blended into the another room yet all of the facilities inside the toilet still working properly without pipelines. There's a group of wanderers who're guarding at the escalator passage between the 2nd floor and the 1st floor to protect people from the entities that roaming around the 1st floor. There're no entities can be found in the 2nd floor, so it's safe to stay and rest in the 2nd floor. The 2nd floor also has really strong Wi-Fi connection, wanderers can use their internet and social medias more properly in this area. There's only few exits in the 2nd floor for the wanderer who decides to leave level 179.

The 1st floor

The 1st floor is the home of entities that inhabited in level 179. The 1st floor seems to be several wide hallways that spread infinitely in every side. The environment in this area is nothing beside empty monochrome parking lot. Toilets can also be found in the 1st floor. There's a report from wanderers who encountered a hallucination in the 1st floor. They said that they keep hearing the sound of monorail engine, moving nearby around them. It keep getting louder and louder if they keep traveling around the 1st floor for too long. Hounds, Facelings, Transporters, Smilers, and Dullers are the entities that are common to be found in the 1st floor. Some items and supplies can also be found here, such as Firesalt, Memory Juice, and Cashew Water.

If any wanderers tried to use their communication facilities either from texting or calling, it will release a very static sound to the wanderer, causing bad effect to their sanity. In the worst case, it can cause a permanent deafness to the wanderer. It will also attracts all of the entities in the 1st floor to your location. It's highly not recommended to bring any communication facilities to level 179 no matter how much necessary it is.

Many exits can be found in the 1st floor, but they're all risky and dangerous.

Entities

As stated from above, all entities are inhabited in the 1st floor. There're Hounds, Facelings, Transporters, Smilers, and Dullers roaming around the 1st floor.

Bases and Outposts

There's an outposts that made by a group of wanderers in the 2nd floor. They accept trading, very passive, and will glad to help the people who're clueless about level 179.

Entrances and Exits

Entrances

  • There's an automatic glass door hidden in level 15 which leads wanderer to level 179
  • A window that appears a monorail image from level 188 will transport the wanderer to level 179 by noclipping into it.

Exits

  • The wanderer can noclip into broken toilets facilities in the 1st floor. It will transport the wanderer to level -2.
  • Noclipping into the real estate commercial advertisement board in the 2nd floor will travel the wanderer to level 9.
  • There's a low chance from noclipping through the window in the 1st floor, leading the wanderer to level 4.
  • Trap doors can be found in the 1st floor which lead the wanderer to level 13.
  • If wanderers get into the rusty cars in the 1st floor. They will become unconscious and then wake up in level 69.
