Description

Entente Soldier Facelings in the trenches of Level 1918.

Level 1918 is a level which resembles a World War One European battlefield. Most of the level are endless trenches, but there are also some urban areas resembling towns and airfields in the early 1900s, where you may find Civilian Facelings and Dogs.

Unlike WW1, the war never ends, and everytime a Faceling dies, one appears somewhere else in the level. As a result, it is currently impossible to know how many facelings there are in this level. The battlefield is endless, an infinite distance of two parallel trench systems, with Soldier Facelings of different ranks and nationality. Almond Water can be found in canteens (you are equipped with one after you enter the level). More will be provided for you if you appear as a Medic.

Most Almond Water found in this level is dirty, and has reduced effective healing.

Entering the level

When you wake up here, you will be wearing a soldier's uniform, depending on the side you find yourself waking up in.

You will also be given a firearm (on the Entente side you will get either an M1 Garand, Enfield rifle or an M1897 Shotgun, on the Central Powers side you will get a Kar98K or G98), a gas mask, a Canteen of Almond Water, Shovels, a Bayonet, and you will be assigned with the rank of Private. Anything on you, including your clothes before you enter will be in your pockets or in your bag. If you don't have a bag, one will be issued to you. Attempting to bring advanced weapons (assault rifles, sniper weapons, etc.) will make them disappear, but will reappear on you or near you after leaving the Level. Weapons obtained from this level cannot be brought out of this level as they will just disappear.

There is also a 1/40 chance of you appearing in the level as a Medic. If you spawn as one, you will be given a random secondary weapon (usually an M1911 on the Entente side, a Luger P08 will be given if you joined the Central Powers side), a gas mask, a medical knife, 5 canteens of Almond Water, Bandages, Rags and Splints.

You will not die permanently in this level if you get killed as you will respawn after 24 hours. Because of this, the level is a popular destination for WW1 LARPers and people who want to have fun, even though it hurts when you have injuries there.

Events and battles can be triggered by Faceling Generals if they have the resources to do it. Resources are resupplied every week by supply carriages from unknown places. These carriages are horse-drawn and contain Gas Canisters, Ammo, Oil and Artillery Shells. It is not possible to see who is driving the carriage.

There is a myth of an event where both sides of the facelings stopped fighting and started hunting down survivors. People say that while this event was ongoing, death was permanent.

Neutral

  • Civilian Facelings - Facelings dressed in 1910s clothing. Most of them will defend themselves from Central Powers Members. Most are aligned with the Entente, though some are aligned with the Central Powers, and will attack Entente Members. They are found in urban areas and they suffer strong casualties.
  • Dogs - Dogs in this level are friendly if you are on their side. This means if you were on the Entente side, a Central Powers owned dog would probably attack you, and vice versa. Civilian dogs exist, and might attack on sight, or will not attack unless threatened, or won't attack at all.
  • Horse Facelings - Horse Facelings are usually rode by Officers or Soldier Facelings. Troops on them are usually armed with swords, combat knives or rifles.
