Level 1992 is the 1993rd level of the Backrooms it seems to be an endless city like level 11 however it is in a permanent state of darkness with buildings having their lights on, despite no signs of a power source in the entire level. The level has low amount of entities and all of them are hostile.

Description

Level 1992 is a city at night with many of the buildings having their lights on. The city has American architecture and has flag of Texas and the USA on some of the buildings, leading some to believe this is a city that exists in Texas, thought no evidence supporting this has been found. The city can experience rain and rarely snow, sleet or hail. The tv's on the level seem to show the collapse of the USSR with the red and yellow flag being replaced with the current flag of Russia in the frontrooms. This lead many people to conclude it is 12/31/1991 in this level, however the dates on the tv's can go up to the date 2/13/1992 before going back to 12/13/1991. It is unknown why the level restarts on 2/13/1992. Entities are seen on this level and are mostly found in government and transportation hubs like bus stops and train stations.

Level 1992 has the unique property where the flags of the USA and Texas seem to change to a communist flag and the tv's showing "LONG LIVE THE COMMUNIST STATES OF AMERICA AND THE SOVIET UNION!" this however only has a 1/1992 chance of happening. There is also a 1/1991 chance of this level being a nuclear winter with snow always falling.

Entities found on this level are facelings, hounds and partygoers. All of them are hostile once they find you meaning this level does not have a "passive effect". However if a faceling joins The New Soviets or The Military it will become peaceful to wonders.

This level had a incident where an arsonist trapped in the backrooms burned half of the city the city has been since repaired.

This colony is full of soviet loving people.
Has 1991 members, 69 of which are facelings. Meaning 1922 of them are people.
Friendly to trade if you love communism, hate it but support at least one idea of it, or if you are not part of The Military.
Not open to new members unless the number of members drops below 1991.
Is it war with The Military and M.E.G.
Wants to turn the entire backrooms communist so far they have had no success.

Driving through a toll booth will lead into level 1983.
If you are lucky you can find a door labeled with what ever year it is in the frontrooms and you will be in Austin, Texas in the frontrooms.
