Level 1997.2 is the 2nd sub-level of Level 1997, it resembles a city like in Level 1998, but it's trashed and every home, building, skyscraper is abandoned. This level is incredibly dangerous, as insanities, skin-stealers and partygoers are everywhere. Inside the abandoned houses, the wanderer can find many useful rescources and useful items like weapons, food and almond water, there's a 1% chance that there is Ultra Almond Water in one of these houses, however, this is uncomfirmed. It is advised to not enter any abandoned buildings in these levels, because this is where most hostile entities, like clumps and crawlers, can kill you. Recomendations suggests that the wanderer should seek shelter in old houses, because that's where entities don't look for wanderers to kill.

Insanities, Skin-Stealers and partygoers tend to inhabit the ground-layer of the level, clumps and crawlers tend to inhabit the vents of abandoned buildings and skyscrapers.

No-clipping through The Great Tree Of Sanity Source has a low chance of teleporting you to Level 1997.2, this way of entering is unconfirmed however, because this level isn't confirmed to exist or not.

Exits

Exits in this level is pretty risky and dangerous, but it's the only way. Prepare a weapon with you and go to a random abandoned skyscraper, whatever you do, don't enter the elevators, because many clumps and crawlers live in the Elevator vents as well. Use the stairs to enter floor 20, if you're in a skyscraper, use stairs to enter floor 30. Find a door with a exit sign. Enter it, you'll be safe there, now no clip into a green wall, then you'll be teleported to either Level 1997 or Level 1998.
