Level 2^1024 "Infinite Void Tower"
Go away, Gary. You are not supposed to be here.
A level that shouldn't exist
Level 2^1024 is the 2^1024 + 1st level of the backrooms. A number so large a computer shouldn't be able to compute; a number so large it is rounded up to infinity

Description
Level 2^1024 is a tower separated into around 1 centillion floors. You start at one of the first 5000 floors on this tower. Each floor is incredibly far apart. So far away it seems like it moves up as you move up. Each floor is slightly different than the last. To go through a floor, you will need to cover at least a few centillion yottameters. In the meantime, you can collect a decent amount of resources as each floor has enough resources to last everyone trapped a few millennia (That is if the people ration the resources and play their cards right). You cannot die from disease as all pathogens die upon entering this level. You can however, bring any normal items in here. If there is one thing all floors have in common, it is the color. It is almost always pitch black or dark purple, occasionally containing bright white flashes described as being brighter than a flashbang at point blank range. The edge of each floor has a ladder and/or staircase that leads to the middle of the next floor. Attempts to break through the edge of a floor have failed. Noclipping out reveals a void full of nothingness. You will be doomed to stay outside only to be teleported to the middle of your current floor 1-2 years later. TL;DR noclipping out the edge is the biggest time waster in the backrooms, never do it. Any attempts to climb to the next floor without reaching the edge has failed too and it just teleports the person attempting it to the very bottom once he/she reaches halfway to the next floor this way. Don't do this either. Going at fast speeds to reach the edge however seems to work just fine. If you have any items that can help you travel faster, use it. (yes, using the backwards long jump from Mario 64 works too if you know how to do it) You are able to go down a floor through noclipping. Another way is to break a hole on the floor then send a ladder down. The second method is not recommended as the floor is incredibly hard to break, and has healing capabilities. Anything that gets stuck on the floor will vaporize.
Entities
Lucky you, there are almost no entities. Every level there is about 10 entities max, some having none at all. Entities that exist here include:
Colonies and Outposts
M.E.G. (Major Explorer Group) Base DBL
- M.E.G.'s latest base as of the time of writing this wiki page, consisting of 50 people.
- DBL stands for "Double Limit"
- Divided into many sub-colonies as it is near impossible for everyone to start at the same floor.
- Created strong and massive cell towers in several floors to make communication easier
The Void Dwellers
- A group of people who entered this hellhole, consisting of ~60,000 members.
- Prefers to communicate via cellphones and/or radios as they are usually too separated to communicate by speaking or even shouting.
- Willing to trade.
The Chaos Legion
- Consists of 20,000 Members
- Found an efficient way to gather up.
- Gathers in Floor 69, Floor 420 and Floor 911 (Yes, seriously.)
- Willing to trade.
- Is currently allied with the M.E.G. to help make Level 2^1024 safer, will work on neutralizing the level.
Special Incidents
Flashing Tower Incident
While the M.E.G. were doing their research on the level, a few members attempted to break the edges. Obviously, it didn't break, but the entire tower started to flash multiple colors, namely white, 4 different shades of blue, black, gray, purple, green and red. Some people fell into a seizure due to having photosensitive epilepsy. Luckily, no confirmed casualties happened due to this strange event. M.E.G. refrained from any and all attempts at breaking the wall from then on.
Fun Incident
Normally, this level has no partygoers. The M.E.G. were experimenting on portal creations after hearing about the centillionth floor containing a portal that leads out of the virtually infinite tower.
While at first it seemed like a mild success and they were making progress, a partygoer passed through. Members attempted to assassinate the partygoer and close the portal but it was too late -- an incursion has commenced.
Several partygoers leak into the tower and immediately infected a few members. The void dwellers nearby all quickly ran away. The M.E.G. members disposed of the partygoers and infected as quickly as possible. When things calmed down somewhat, they lit the pile of corpses on fire to prevent anyone from touching the corpses. It was a quick incident but certainly traumatizing.
Entrances & Exits
Entrances
- Reach one of the two tunnel endings of The Hub and noclip through a non-openable door there.
- Finding it in The Void will allow you to enter it without the use of noclipping.
- Climbing Level 9223372036854775807's staircase for an arbitrarily long amount of time eventually gets you here.
Exits
- Climbing anywhere from 1000- a centillion floors will have a chance to transport you to Level ???!!! (more floors reached gives you a higher chance of exit)
- Reaching the last floor is guaranteed an exit as it is the only room that isn't overly massive. All that is in there is a portal. Usually leads to Level ???!!!, tiny chance of leading to The Frontrooms.
Expeditions
Exploration Storm
After the M.E.G. gained intel about Level 2^1024 through Base DBL, they decided to storm the area in order to gather as much information about the level as possible. Though it was delayed due to the Fun Incident, it was a successful expedition and managed to gather even more information about it. Previously known information of the level now has confirmation due to this expedition.
