Description
Level 2.6 or The Wooden Tunnels is a recently discovered sub-level bye u/ThatDudeOnTheNet located within level 2, level 2.6 consists of octilions of miles of tunnels made of mostly granite, wood and other rocks, this sub-level appears to be a underground coal mine that is 70KM under the surface, you can find sometimes metal doors leading to concrete rooms, but that is very rare to happen, the only light sources found here in this sub-level are those industrial lightbulbs hanged in the righ/left side of the walls, the miner hats scattered randomly between this sub-level and the light sources you are carrying, the background noise you can hear is those of the hum-buzzing lightbulbs and the low and muffled sounds of minning machinery in the background, be careful, there are some areas of the sub-level that are infested with entities, these areas should be avoided at all costs if you don't want to die in a painful way, there have been sightings of miner facelings, they use miner's hat and miner's wardrobe, they have been seen working in the tunnels extracting what appears to be Poolstone and Coal, when one sees you without a hat, they will say: "hey! you must wear a minning hat to be here", but if one sees you with a hat, they will say: "oh, so you must be Gary, the new guy eh? anyways, take a pickaxe and start mining, these minerals won't extract themselves", they are friendly and will help their companions in this sub-level, while in Level 2.6, you can find Minning Carts, these are peaceful entities that will help you travel the tunnels of this place, these entities are very friendly and you can tame one to help you to travel.

And another photo of a random area
There are bridge tunnels that connect the other side with another, sometimes these area may seem to have broken bridges with a void below them, you may stay away from these areas, sure the ones with the bridges in excellent conditions, and there are some areas without light that should be avoided at all costs, because there is a severe and massive infestation of entities in these areas, other areas are flooded with The Mold and these are heavely to be avoided.
Anomalies
This sub-level has strange properties that are only seen here, for example:
- There are noises from mining machinery in the background, the farther the noise, the closer you are to finding the source of the sound, the closer the sound is, the further you are from finding the noise.
- The concrete rooms found here may have the basic amenities of an average home, such as a bathroom, food, and water.
- In the concrete rooms, all the objects that are taken by a person, will be regenerated within a period of 5 hours, this excludes the furniture found in the rooms.
- The mold here will not make you a victim of mold, but it can kill you instantly if you touch it.
- Mine carts are friendly and can help you get out of this sub-level, they are self-aware entities, when they see a human nearby, they will begin to follow them, if they see one in danger, they will go to where the danger is too fast, running over danger and saving the person who was being attacked.
Sometimes you can find tunnels with battery powered industrial lights scattered around, they only purpose is to light up the tunnels of the level.

Areas
There are 4 Areas found here while exploring:
Area 1 is the area where explorers commonly enter from Level 2, this areas spans for approximately 950 Million miles , this area resembles tunnels used in mining, in these tunnels you can see mining equipment, such as pickaxes, mine hulls, flashlights, etc. This area is the safest, because only entities are found, such as mine facelings and mine carts, also in this area you can find concrete rooms that closely resemble Level 2, except that these do not have the pipes that are in the wall, these rooms are approximately the size of a room in an average American home, apart, these rooms contain supplements that are enough to last 7 months, beds, wifi and running water, as well as ducts of ventilation that lead back to Level 2, sometimes you can find empty concrete rooms, sometimes with pipes in the ceiling, as well as windows that are considered traps.
If you come across anything unusual in a concrete room, please move away immediately and close the door to the concrete room you found.
Area 2 extends for approximately 500 Million Miles, this area resembles Level 2, only without its pipes, and with industrial light bulbs separated from each one by 5 meters, as well as 3 meter wide corridors. In the background you can hear strong machinery, but without any source, attempts to find where the sound comes from have failed miserably, these tunnels have entities that are mine carts, mining facelings and male death moths, here too You can find iron doors that lead to rooms, more corridors and doors that take you back to Level 2, smilers have also been seen in dark areas of corridors and in rooms without light, this area is considered the least dangerous of the 4 areas.
Area 3 is an area of extension of only 500 miles, this area is considered the smallest of all the areas and at the same time the most dangerous of all, this area is made up of abandoned and flooded mining tunnels, as well as entities that include deathmoths, smilers, and insanities, the insanities of this area carry mining equipment with them, making it known that once they were people who descended into madness by not being able to leave this sub level, there is not much information about this area, so We only know that they are flooded and abandoned tunnels.
Concrete Rooms
Map of a concrete room
The concrete rooms are special rooms found in this sub-level, these rooms have the basic amenities that one may need, such as:
- Running water.
- A place to sleep.
- A bathroom.
- A television with several channels.
- Weapons.
- A bed enough for 2 people.
Abandoned Concrete Rooms
A dark and abandoned concrete room
These concrete rooms are not the same concrete rooms that you can find in this sub-level, these rooms can kill you, they have an entity waiting for someone to enter to attack it, etc.
These rooms instead of having almond water, they have liquid pain, the bathrooms do not work, the televisions are broken, open windows that lead to The Void, so there are also vents that lead back to Level 2 These rooms can be infested with unknown entities, so it is not recommended to enter these types of rooms, also this type of rooms can take you to an unknown area without exploration, and it may be that in that area there is a massive infestation of entities.
The only entity that has been seen in the concrete rooms so far have been the Smilers, these are the rarest to find in an abandoned concrete room, so, if you are going to enter a concrete room, first put your Ear on the door, and if you hear a growl, the room has an entity, if you hear an electric light bulb hum, then the room is safe to enter.
Colonies and Outposts
Due to the harsh nature of this level, only 2 outposts are established here.
Lost Miners
- Made of 50 Victims of severe mine collapses in the frontrooms.
- They asked to remain anonymous.
- Will trade anything related to minning for useful items (Flashlights, Poolstone, Almond Water)
- They will always accept new members.
Concrete Society
They have found an set of hallways with tons of concrete rooms to stay, they will accept new members as long you don't turn hostile against them, their population is 40 people.
Entrances and Exits
Entrances
- Be a worker in a mine in The Frontrooms and while trapped, no-clip in a wall to enter here instead of Level 0.
- Find a metal door in Level 2 with a sign above with the caption "Undergound Coal Mine", they appear randomly, the chances of that door appearing is like you winning lottery 15 times in a row or getting struck 3 times by a lightning in a row.
Exits
- Find a staircase going upwards in this sub-level, you will be back in Level 2
- Fall through the broken bridges to enter Level 999.
- There is a reddish cave somewhere in this level that takes you to Level 8.6
Theories
This is the place miners would end and pretended to be dissapeared misteriously in any mine collapse. You can hear here the sounds of heavy machinery here, but the source of these found haven't been found yet.
