Description

Appearance

Size

the level is rectangular and has a size of 5,347,849.6 square km ( 2064816.2 square miles)

Hallways

Level 2040 appears to be a series of grey and/or white brick hallways which lack light and any light sources. The hallways will be long under normal circumstances, usually extending more than 120 feet (36.5 meters). Sometimes, there will be a room branching off a hallway. Hallways also often feature random objects ranging from plastic bags to grandfather clocks.

Rooms

Rooms in the level will be basic, containing very few objects if any. however, In some parts of the level, classrooms or office rooms have been reported instead of the empty basic rooms. Rooms will also be cube shaped, and will be no smaller than 5x5x5 meters and no bigger than 23x23x23 meters.

Elevators

Only image of this level found

Elevators in this level will usually have a dark grey color, and usually appear in hallways distant from any room hallways. Once inside an elevator, you will find that all the numbers on the button will be nonsensical. Once you press a button, you will feel the sensation to be rising, only for the elevator to open back up and show the same environment as before.

Level effects

this level has many various effects on the mind. The few most common to occur to explorers include: nausea, loss of sanity, hopelessness, and paranoia. However, these effects will usually be cured with 3/4 or more cups of Almond Water. studies have also indicated that paranoia is more in effect in people in this level if they have abnormal amounts of nyctophobia (fear of the dark).

Levels anomalies and events

anomalies and events are commonly occurring things in level 2040, but anomalies are less common then events.

Events

Lights on event (occurs every 2 weeks)

during this event, lights will suddenly appear and turn on for about 5 hours. during this time, the level is downgraded to a class 1 and is one of the only times when the level is safe. when the 5 hours are up, glass breaking would be heard all around the level and the lights would disappear without warning.

fog event (occurs every 5 days)

during this event, the level is plunged into fog for an undetermined amount of time. One fog event lasted 39 days! and the shortest was 15 minutes. anyway, the fog event will cause the level to jump to a class 4, as visibility of entities is lower and the amount of entities will rise. After the fog event ends, the level will be damp for the 2 days following.

Code red event (occurs every 1.5 months)

during this event, a voice form an unsourced says “lava flood! This is not a drill! Go to the nearest exit in 60..59..58” and so on. once the counter reaches zero, supersonic speed lava will flood the lava leaving nothing alive. the level will then be “rebuilt” during a course of 3 hours (if you try to enter this level when it’s being rebuilt, you will end up in The Void instead.). Once the level is rebuilt, it will have a completely different layout.

Anomalies (anomalies are random events that can happen at any time, and don’t happen again)

these are all the recorded anomalies;

Drought anomaly (May 20 2020- Jun 23 2020)

during the drought anomaly, the fog event of this level didn’t occur which caused the level to quickly lose it’s fogwater and become dry, so much so that entities that relied on the water from the fog water to live started to die off.

Dust Devil anomaly (Sep 2 2020-Sep 4 2020)

during the dust Devil events, 15 dust devils formed all about the level for reasons still unexplained. When the dust devils ended, they randomly created new dust which spread around everywhere. This is the 1st event leading up to the spacetime anomaly.

Cardboard walls anomaly (Dec 22 2020)

suddenly, 15% of the level’s walls fell over as they turned into cardboard and lost their balance. Theories say these cardboard walls then apparently glitched into the ground and fell out of the level from anywhere 5-28 hours after the cardboard walls anomaly concluded. This is supported by the fact that small chunks of cardboard were seeing falling through The Void a few days later. This is the second event leading up to the spacetime anomaly.

“When life gives you lemons…” anomaly (Mar 16 2021-Mar 18 2021)

Thousands of lemons rained in the southwestern part of the level instead of the normal fog that was supposed to happen. These lemons apparently had compositions similar like watermelons, but still felt, looked, and tasted like them. This is not an event leading up the to the spacetime anomaly, as it does not seem to escalate it.

Morphing labyrinths (May 20 2021- Aug 20 2021)

during this time period, the level shifted it’s structure 43 times (changing from e very few minutes to every few days.) without any warning before going back to the original setup. The level also was glitched and had a much higher amount of no-clipping than before. This was the 3rd event leading up to the spacetime anomaly.

New entities anomaly (Sep 14 2021- Sep 18 2021)

During this time frame, and estimated 540 entities entered the level that weren’t already living there. This caused havoc for both explorers and entities in this level. It was later found out that huge quantum entanglements were the cause of this. This was the 4th event leading up to the spacetime anomaly.
