Level 205 is the 206th level of the Backrooms.

Description

Computer generated image of the level.

Level 205 is a finite mountain range that contains extremely dangerous properties. There is nothing too special about the level. The monotone mountaintops, the silvery sky, the faceless fog, etc. Everything is grey. Not much is known about this level because it is incredibly hard to reach. There is however, a theory of a safe valley far away from the mountains, yet no one had ever reached it.

On Level 205, there are both environmental dangers and an entity infestation, making this level very hard to survive in. The ground may give way at any point or not even exist, and natural disasters are as far as the eye can see. There are also dangerous liquids that are found to be unsafe to consume.

An extreme amount of ambient noise is present on this level, and may burst eardrums if wanderers stay on this level for a long period of time. There is also a blinding amount of light on this level, which can cause permanent blindness very quickly.

There is a high amount of abnormal mental threats in the level. Full-blown psychosis with symptoms of hallucinations across all senses almost always occur in this level. Staying too long in this level may deal permanent psychological damage.

Hounds, Smilers, Deathmoths, and Insanities are all found on this level. There is also one level-exclusive entity here, called "The Seeker". The Seeker is a black humanoid, that eats any wanderers that see it.

Log

The following is an audio file, recorded by Marty.

<BEGIN LOG>

Fredericks: I already hate this.

M.E.G. Agent 1: Alright. Well, you know your mission, please begin to ascend the mountain.

The team begins to ascend the mountain. 15 minutes and 43 seconds of sl pass.

Marty: I think we're outside earshot of Agent Fumblebottom and his minions now.

Clyde: Don't call him that! Remember what-

Marty: Yeah, what are they gonna do? Shoot us down for making puns? Fat chance.

Fredericks: Shut up, Marty.

Marty: Shut up, Fredericks.

The team continues to ascend. They reach a very tall cliff-wall.

Clyde: How are we supposed to climb this?

M.E.G. Agent 2 (Over Radio): You have a winch in your backpack.

Micheal: Wait, you're still listening in on us?

M.E.G. Agent 2: Affirmative.

[short pause]

Marty: So, is Agent Fumblebottom there with you?

33 minutes 46 seconds of little interaction. Sounds of wind begin to get louder.

Clyde: It's getting pretty windy up here.

M.E.G. Agent 2: Is it also cloudy?

Fredericks: Yeah, it's basically overcast.

M.E.G. Agent 2: Remember to keep close to the walls and watch your step.

Clyde: Got it.

2 minutes 12 seconds of little interaction. The group reaches a relatively flat part of the mountain.

Fredericks: Stop pushing me around, Marty.

Marty: Wasn't me.

The wind pushes Fredericks to the ground, and slides him towards a nearby cliff. Fredericks manages to employ his ice pick, but the end of the pick breaks off, and Fredericks falls into a chasm. Sounds of bones breaking were heard. Fall is assumed to be fatal.

Marty: Dude, I think he just died!

Clyde: I swear to god, there wasn't a chasm there a second ago.

18 minutes 23 seconds of little interaction, aside from complaints from the group about the environment.

Micheal: It's getting colder by the minute up here. My coat isn't helping at all!

Clyde: The snow is like a spray of bullets!

M.E.G. Agent 2: Remember to go to [inaudible]

Marty: You-

Interference with audiovisual equipment makes communication impossible at this point. Signal is not received for fifteen minutes until backup equipment is remotely activated.

Marty: I can't fucking take it anymore. It's too intense.

Clyde: Do you hear that?

Analysis of audio has revealed that the sound of a man's voice can be heard through the storm.

Marty: Yes, and it's coming from over there!

The group rounds a corner and discovers an extremely tall humanoid that is walking towards them. They back off, yet it begins chasing them and ends up catching them. The team managed to hit the creature 19 times, even though their aim was heavily affected by the storm. Bullets did not seem to work. The humanoid ended up eating the team on the spot. Screams and blood splatters were heard.
